Hey guys me and Joe have started a VERY small web site for a group of fellow TCP/IP players to meet and schedule games much easier. It has a forum, chat room, calendar to schedule games, and I was thinking once we get a nice little community say 10 people we run a little tourny and i will post pics and AARs from those. Just something for all of us that love CMBB to stay in the game even more and still talk strategy and tactics, plus have a EASY way of playing a great set of players. So reason I am posting this is if you wanna join send me a private message OR post your e-mail in this thread and I will e-mail you the site and a request to join. Me and joe played like 3 games this weekend. I created a small web page with forums and e-mailed a few of yall from here to join the group so we can have easy access to scheduling games and such.

I agree to a extent sergei, but you have to think about what your enemy will throw at ya and have decent counters

I also agree with you mikey on the hit rate, I mean it was across the whole map but still hit rates were LOW but not nearly as low as what the 88s took. They took out like 9 34's out and 2 KV's so in all the handled PLENTY enough of what normally any human player would throw at you. But the cost of them seems I would rather go Half track with Pak 40s and move them around.

so basiclly everyone says NOT WORTH it. I am not talking about anything I am doing it was just posted for some discussion. Something for us to talk about and think about. I personally like stated above like Pak 40s they are NORMALLY plenty enough to handle the job if postioned right. Even 1 placed in a correct spot and not done a lick of damage can be enough to slow the advance enough to get a victory out of slowing them down enough. I brought it up cause last night was first time i used them and was not impressed and wanted to hear others thoughts. I also had high standards for the VERY well known FLAK 88. later guys Southern

Reason I ask this because I played a mission last night where I had 4 88's defending a city high on a ridge. While they fired clear across the map getting decent kills they also took rounds from the tanks which knocked out 3 of them. So what would you say if they are worth having if you happen to be on defense? My game against Joe I have not decided yet what I am going to take into the field, I have my normal strategy but I am trying to branch out and try new tatics. Later guys Southern P.S. My cousin tried installing game, after installed, restarts opens game. He gets a colored line across the middle of the screen. everthing else is black, No sound, or screen. help if can guys southern

On a realistic note I think Jason is right BUT what I believe you are side stepping jason is the fact that YES, if you are in a AFV and a flamethrower would blast the tank, breathing would be impossible, if not VERY VERY terrible. So maybe they were not used in such a manner BUT if they COULD, the effects would be decent. Just the danger, speed, weight, ect ect of carrying one limits it from being used as a pure assault weapon.

Hey Joe Yea it is OUR game I was talking about. I could not figure out what your name was on the forums glad you posted that. I am going to walk my HQ up to your surrendered men and find the highest ranking officer and squeeze a round off in the back of his head. By FAR the best game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have my first game scheduled this saturday against someone off this post, hope many more to come. I will post our AAR saturday after our game. Later guys

GOD guys I gotta say very very impressed with the fast replies. Hell I am very glad I made this topic I think for once I might get a good group of buddies to play TCP/IP on the weekends. Which this will kick ass cause nothing is better than talking crap to one of your buddies as you know you are about to wipe the floor with him .I will be e-mailing everyone that posted E-mail addy that plays IP games. I play only IP games, E-mail games tend to take to long. A IP game can be finished in a night or two MUCH better. If you wanna do a game let me know.
