Perhaps so, but it would have saved them a lot of time and energy if BFC had announced CM Italy in a proper way. But you are probably right.

And it looks a lot better too. I hope it will be included in Normandy 2. It did serve in Normandy.

Would it be possible to have a module to simulate a conventional conflict between NATO and the Warsaw Pact in the 1980s and/or 1990s? I'm sure lots of people would be interested in that. I understand of course BFC isn't going to change their plans, but perhaps it would be a nice addition to CMSF2?

I wonder whether the Pz III will get Schürzen. Important detail.

So perhaps this is a reason why so few new scenarios are launched lately. Perhaps everybody is waiting for the v2 features.

I must admit I was disappointed about the Italy news. Same as I was when I heard that Total War went Samurai again (still annoyed about that). It seemed like a waste of time and energy to me. So I'm relieved to hear the other games (Normandy 2 and Eastern front) will be released within a year too. Wargamers sure have something to look forward too. Panther II's in the snow, now that would be something...

Will the Normandy module 2 include Elsace-Lorraine and the fighting in the Ardennes? I'm mostly looking forward to Bagration 1944. Can't wait to return to the Eastern front, but all very welcome news. Would have loved to see CMSF 2 in a somewhat earlier time period (1990s) but this is also very interesting.

Well, so be it then. It hasn't prevent me from pre-ordering. I'm happy to hear BFC is heading for mass-production of base games and modules.

I must admit I don't really like this unpredictable way of behaving from the side of BFC. It isn't necessary and we aren't little kids waiting for their Christmas presents. Market Garden is next and September is coming. No need for unexpected new base games, modules or weird stuff like that last toy they released. I realize my opinion doesn't matter much, but I feel the need to express it anyway.

Than please, please, please keep at it and make more of such superb maps for us. Especially for the British sector so much isn't covered yet.

So this is going to be a seperate module? And if so, what subject? Only Sicily and Italy?
