I don't want changes in the TOE and I certainly don't want surprises, but I need this upgrade for the next battlepack?
-
Wim, would you mind posting the seperate scenarios? I can't uncam the campaign.

I missed the latest version and downloaded the version in the OP. The 'new' version did the trick nicely with Hasrabit. I guess I'll be able to rework it as well.
Thanks again.
Can you please post a link? I try to uncam Mission Boston - Objective La Fiere, but it ain't working.

Well, the install succeeded more or less, but I now get strange UI definitions. My Panther for example has the title M901.
Saving the scenario in the editor again seems to have solved the problem.

I've tried to re-install CMBN on my new pc the same way, but I don't get it to start strangely enough. Any tips are most welcome.

Thanks Redwolf! I wasn't sure exactly what was meant so I dropped a trouble ticket:
Redwolf is correct. Use the download link in your 4.0 Upgrade Big Bundle purchase. Then use the Activate New Products utility in the game's main directory folder and enter your 3.0 and 4.0 keys. Also use that to enter Commonwealth and Vehicle Pack keys. Do not enter your original Game Engine 1 or 2.0 Upgrade keys.
I just deleted all I had reinstalled and started over with the 4.0 upgrade. Then added in Ugrade 3.0, 4.0, Commonwealth, Market Garden and Vehicle Pack. I had to end and restart the Activate New Products for each add-on. Works great! It applied the Compatibility adjustments I tried using before but is working perfectly so I think I'll leave it as is.
Thanks again!

Still painting it.
No pressure. You did say you would try. That's good enough for me.

Finally had the time to install CMRT on my new pc and able to play George MC's monster scenarios smoothly, but I've forgotten how to increase the display size to both my monitors. At the moment my resolution size is 1920x1080. I seem to remember it had something to do with the display size file, but please help me out, guys.
Never mind, guys. Always first talk to your wife.

Good article in Politico on the realignment of the world's nations due to the war in Ukraine. Primary focus is on relationships with China and the changing mindset of key European nations such as Germany and France away from trade at any cost.

What I find most interesting in this article... no real mention of Russian influence. Seems Russia is out of the game. Go figure.
Steve
Interesting article. thanks. I watched a documentary about the havoc the Chinese are wrecking in Central Asia (countries like Uzbekistan, Tadzjikstan and Kazachstan) at the moment. Completly ruthless and even colonial policy. In the long run China is much more dangerous than Russia.

You DID have 3 beers! Thank you
I actually already went back and improved(?) it some based on taking a look at @laurent 22 whitewash stuff. I didn't have enough actual bright white. Mine was just showing gray. So I added some white I grabbed with an eye dropper. I ALSO tried to go up to 300 dpi but I must have screwed that up. Laurent said he does that and obviously he is on the ball and knows his stuff. Here is "Gun D"...
Maybe before I retire, Laurent works with my old slow brain and I finally get it right after 10 damn years!!
Think of it as "retirement from CM content creation". I am not trying to get too dramatic. Some of it is based off BFC's clear plan not to devote a damn crumb of effort toward early WW2. But also the health aspect. I was away for 5 years from CM 2016-2021 - or so - and really got into great shape. I think I could use another departure!
I must say that you are one of those people I always feel guilty towards knowing my own limits in skill and energy, Phil. Ever since you helped me with making a map for one of my scenarios I admire your energy and dedication. Never appreciated enough and always in service of the community you're one of those few people who make a good game even better. CM should have hired you a long time ago. Whether you decide to go or stay, I will always be grateful for your wonderful work for us. That's how I feel about it.
-
Thank you so much, Phil. I'm very happy with this mod. It looks perfect! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The bomb you drop about leaving CM is rather damping my joy, to be honest. But yes, health is all.

All battles that deserve more attention. I agree. Especially the fighting for Eastern Prussia, Bautzen and Lauban.

no worry. I understood you were not ordering a pizza! Sometimes people make a mod just for their own use.
But I am curious what look you are hoping for? Since you are not so in love with the stock one that ships with CMFB and CMRT F&R...
I would be very happy with that checkered mod. It looks absolutely gorgeous. Beggars can't be chosers, but if I am allowed to say it, it would be that one.

This is all very interesting, gentlemen, but what about that 88 winter mod?

Unfortunately, the timeframe being the latter stages of WW2, a lot of Ukrainians are being "killed" too." And I bet a lot were fighting against their will.
According to researchers, during 1943-1945 about 4.5 million Ukrainians became Red Army soldiers. After June 1944, almost 40% of the Soviet Red Army consisted of Ukrainians. The losses of the Ukrainian people during World War Two account for 19-35% of the total losses of the USSR.

Absolutely. Holodomor first and then you have to fight for the bastards.

Agreed, although a small helping hand was given via the Steward red card (now rescinded ).
True. And the French also deserved it, but a worthy champion nevertheless.

Killing Russians. A must for a wargame.

Great maps of one of my favorite battlefields. Recommended.

Perhaps is already on the way...
Strange it isn't included in the first place, don't you think, JM?
