  1. Could you also send me the dropbox link please?
  2. Perhaps it's included in the game already, but it there a horizon mod for High snowy Mountains, like the Alps?
  3. Have a safe tour of duty. And a big Thank You from my (Afghan) wife and me for keeping this unfortunate country a bit safer.
  4. Knowing Steve we should all know that he means well, but I don't see the making and playtesting of the campaigns finished in a couple of months. That's just not realistic. Let's just wait and see. A lot is already finished, that's good news for sure.
  5. Nice screenshots. Also good to hear Soviet partisans will be in.
  6. Their smoke grenades also can be very handy, especially during infantry assaults. Can save a lot of blood.
  7. Good idea to dig the trenches in. Looks a lot better.
  8. Same here. I must confess not having spent much time in Italy up tilL now,, but when I checked the master maps folder last week, I was surprised to see only one, the Venafro map.
  9. Personally I rather take a minor victory, or even a defeat, instead of losing too many men. The losses of the enemy are more of an indication of a succesful action to me, than my own decimated units gasping for breath on their objectives.
  10. It's a great looking map, Artkin, that's for sure. But the monastery, the village and the castle are not on it, are they?
  11. I know. And yes, we are fortunate to have those guys. I hope some of them will return after the CMRT module finally sees the light.
  12. Well, the CMRT winter mod is a very, very good 'stopgap'. It is so well made that it will give you a great winter experience.
  13. Yes, must have looked like Mount Doom (for LOTR-fans like myself) for the Allied soldiers.
  14. Good overview of the situation, thanks. Looking forward to your map too. Especially in winter conditions.
  15. Recently became a bit obsessed by this battle. Would love to see a detailed master map, to fight battles on.
  16. I see. Yes, I hope they can be modded. Would love to have them. One of my uncles (an officier in the KNIL and POW of the Japs) was liberated by Gurkhas near Surabaya/Java in 1945. For him those Gurkhas were heroes, he even visited some of them in Nepal after the war.
  17. Same here. Airfix was great, especially Afrika Korps and 8th Army toy soldiers. And tanks, dozens of them. Great memories indeed.
