  1. I see your point, but defining justified frustration or justified criticism as malicious complaining also doesn't do any good for the wider community. And yet that's more and more what's happening.
  2. Of course not. But that's not Erwin's point. He just mentions something he noticed. As a valued and long time member of this forum he's entitled to speak his mind about it. No need to be hostile about that. Besides, there's no shortage of excuses for the endless delay of Fire and Rubble. Oeps, there I go again.
  3. Are you the new moderator or just trying to get more likes from your little friends?
  4. Well, we already exchanged our points of view, guys, so let's leave it at that.
  5. Perhaps you're just not as crazy about these games as we are.
  6. When reading his comments I sometimes have the feeling I don't speak English at all.
  7. I will follow your example. And the day we can download I take the rest of the week off, retreat into my study room and only open the door for my wife if she brings me food. If she won't New York Pizza will have a good week.
  8. Each game has it's own merits. As you say, it's all good.
  9. I see. Well, in that case I will also pre-order, although I never had problems downloading.
  10. Why? It has to do with getting the DVD, hasn't it?
  11. I don't think that's the idea behind pre-ordering. I'm not sure, but if I recall correctly you can pre-order for a higher price, so you will get a DVD by post before other people can download the game. So yes, it has to do with making some extra money.
  12. Is that a genuine benefit? Most of us check this forum on a daily basis anyway. And need to be first? Why?
  13. Such books are usually the most interesting. Details, details, details.
  14. I often pre-order books and sometimes games, which always means you get a discount. It also doesn't mean delay for those that don't pre-order.
  15. Ithikial is a perfectionist, bless his soul. But it doesn't have to be that complicated. It's often a matter of taking the time to read and test, after which things become easier and a lot of fun. In the past week I took the time to dive into the editor for Command Ops 2 (I can not recommend this brilliant game enough), which looks pretty daunting at first. After spending a couple of days with it, it proved to be rather easy and very much worth the time and effort. CM is the same. Most of us have become spoiled and lazy when it comes to gaming, but the CM editor in my opinion is very good and not nearly as complicated as it seems on first sight.
  16. It's extra money. Plain and simple. If you want to create 'buzz' you can give more information about the coming module to those who are waiting.
  17. Hell yes! I still mis them! Thought about that just a week ago.
