My dearest queen! Tell me it ain't true ! Unable to challenge my rival in a duel to the death (wich has ,despite it's bitterness,a sweet taste knowing that one has to spend his life without your devotion) ... i will have to take my own life in the ancient oriental way: Hara Kiri... the horrid pains of disembowlment will pale compared to the knowledge that i have lost your love... For ever yours, SturmSebber -

Oh, i never , or almost never have that problem with the Panther-type wich has "shot trap".... weird ... ?
-
My late Panthers ALWAYS get "gun damaged", sometimes even in the first rounds , this is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery frustrating. Do i have extremely bad luck? Or is this common? And what to do about it? thanks! Sturmy

Your favorite WWII Tank and why..
SturmSebber replied to Tank Ace's topic in Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord
Stug IV It's not that expensive, not in cmbo and certainly not in cmbb, and it is great for supporting infantry and well, just for any job actually. I'd trade a panther for two or three Stug's any day. the ideal workhorse! and i love it!! -
Hi, Can someone tell me if CMBB will be in the stores early this month, or more around the last week of September? Thanks, Sturmy

why i keep losing *territory* in operations?
SturmSebber replied to fire1470's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Well, this is a sad fact of life we all have to deal with... Operations were created within the limits of the game engine, and this is the best they could make it. You'd better do what a lot of us do already , give up playing operations! I did so a long time ago when after a fierce battle for a town i was pushed back the next day by the computer and could start taking the town all over again... But hey! There is plenty more stuff to enjoy in CMBO/CMBB. Hope this helps and doesn't make you cry Sturmy -
CM retailer in Sweden: AAAARRRGGHH!!!

Haha! Only 45 Euro in Belgium! Go Belgium, go Belgium ... I'm going back to sleep now, Sturmy -
ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US.... Welcome! Btw.: There are more "young" cmbo players than you might think. The old dudes just get a lot of attention here

What will happen to CMBO now?
SturmSebber replied to Chad Harrison's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I'm afraid that cmbo will start gathering dust on a shelve. I don't think i would be able to handle to shortcommings (weaker MG , no arc of fire...) after i get the "improved" cmbb. I'm goign to buy all sequals to CMBO , and i will almost certainly prefer the new version to the old one. It's like Microsoft's age of empires. Who still plays age of empires 1 ???? Maybe once on a dark winter evening when you've got nothing to do. It is time to move on with cmbb, and to gather happy memories about cmbo. -
Announcing CMBB Distribution Details
SturmSebber replied to Moon's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Hi! Thanks Battlefront for your reply. I do have some remarks/questions: 1)There is no intro movie in the CDV version i own (Belgium) only a CDV commercial. This is not a major point, but still, obviously you care about intromovies, otherwise you would not have made one for the US version. 2)Secondly : If i read between the lines that means :we are not going to make a patch wich will enable you to have SS instead of WG.Correct? 3) I want to thank you for this great game. And please do understand that we Europeans love this game too, but we want the original thing! We (the rest of Europe) should not be punished for some hypocrytical German rules. I hope you can find time to make a last reply to my questions, thank you in adavance, Sturmy (and sorry for the average English grammar)
