Hi MJY, Try downloading the v1.01 patch as this should resolve the issue for you Hubert -
Late Sealion
Hubert Cater replied to Ziploc's topic in Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and Weapons and Warfare
Hi Ziploc! If you find that you can hold off the Red Army at the same time I would say go for it, but you might find the additional build up time in England a bit more of a challenge. -
New Global Conflict Tournament announced
Hubert Cater replied to Amadeus's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
Great to hear guys and good luck to the finalists An AAR generator might be an option as we already have a log generator for testing the AI and with some tweaks it could certainly be formated more appropriately. -
Hi Big Muddy! If you are speaking of the USSR they won't be able to attack anyone until they reach a full mobilization of 100% and are then able to declare war if they haven't already been declared war upon. Rambo is essentially correct even if his delivery needs some work

Problems With Nupremal's World Mod
Hubert Cater replied to Storm Chaser's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
Hi Storm Chaser, Sorry to hear about the trouble and all I can say is that the mod should have no effect on your ability to play the game multiplayer or otherwise as it is just a simple file copy over to your 'Campaigns' folder. I would suggest a full uninstall and clean install to see if that helps as well as a reboot and applying the latest patch as I suspect it will fix your network issue as well. Hubert -
Swap Movement for Global
Hubert Cater replied to Ludi1867's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
Glad you like it and we've got an eye on something like this for Global if everything works out according to plan. -

Ouch that hurt -
I actually think we did something like this in the past, at least tested it, as well as increasing the build times of naval units to more historical numbers, but the general feedback was that it just wasn't that much fun to play and limited a lot of what ifs. I realize that might not be the answer you are looking for here but often it comes down to balancing out what happened in reality and game play and out best attempt at finding the middle ground.

It is hard coded but the actions from how NM is handled in game mostly all modifiable such as reducing the impact of capturing or losing resources to 0 as well as not including NM specific event scripts or VICTORY scripts, i.e. you can exclude the effect of NM reaching 0 from forcing the automatic victory in a game as we see in WWI. Beyond that the unit combat effects on NM will still be in place but you can set a really high initial NM morale value to work around that such as 999,999 points etc. Hope this helps, Hubert

Motorization
Hubert Cater replied to rjh1971's topic in Strategic Command - World War 1: The Great War 1914-1918
I think that is correct... with so many builds between Beta and release I seem to remember it being restricted at some point I just likely got the timing mixed up. -
'Virus' detected with SC WW2 GC
Hubert Cater replied to Monty Patton's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
Some Anti-Virus programs don't like the licensing systems that our EXEs are wrapped with and report false positives but rest assured our games do not contain any viruses... can you open a ticket at http://www.battlefront.com/helpdesk and the tech support can help you in there. -
Motorization
Hubert Cater replied to rjh1971's topic in Strategic Command - World War 1: The Great War 1914-1918
I believe this was amended for the v1.01 patch but I can't seem to find this in the version notes, but either way I think Bill can confirm or deny this when he sees this thread. -

AAR IronvsDerek
Hubert Cater replied to Iron Ranger's topic in Strategic Command - World War 1: The Great War 1914-1918
Great stuff Iron Ranger, thanks for sharing -
Panama Red, We are looking at a Corps/Army scale similar to the previous release but with a few more of these units on the map as well as Garrison units and more of the specialized units such as Anti-Tank, Artillery, Anti-Air and so on. The idea was to try and have the campaign feel very familiar to those that have played our past European Theater releases, i.e. similar timeline and number of units, but with a much larger map with more room to maneuver and so on. So far in our opinion it has worked out really well in this regard, we are adjusting as necessary and likely to introduce a few new features to have it play just right, but the good thing is that in the end players can always make adjustments as they see fit via the Editor to suit their own personal tastes. This release should really be a win-win for anyone that enjoys the European Theater (WWII) as well as for anyone that enjoys WWI
