  1. wow, thanks for the nice review. This one was an attempt to give a real tough AI fight. I am glad you found it enjoyable. It certainly is hairy. Thanks again for the review. Hope it gets more people to check it out.
  2. That is what I was wondering. The last edit I made on the scenario was with the latest 1.03 build, IIRC. Maybe he is still using 1.02. I sent him an email asking. Thanks for the heads up.
  3. Someone downloaded one of my scenarios and said they put it in the CMBB/scenarios directory and that he can then not find it on the battle list in game. He saws that another scenario he just downloaded works fine. Any idea of what is going on? This has never happened to me. My scenario shows up fine in my game...
  4. Allow me to make clear that the only problem I have with Sublime is that he kicked my ass recently. Other than that, he is a great opponent, and this thread was just to break his balls for kicking mine. But please continue with more PBEM horror stories very interesting...
  5. This one was for Sublime, also... That slimey bastage...
  6. To all who have kicked my ass, you know who you are. I will extract my revenge from your cold dead fingers...
  7. Thank you! I look forward to your comments.
  8. On the scenario synopsis atthe depot for your scenario, at the bottom, right below where it says author's name there is the place where you download the scenario. It sah a link to the zip file and right next to the link is number of downloads... looks like this:
  9. Possibly the region of the battle. I am in no way sure of this. but maybe in July of 1943, say you chose the northern region. There might have been SS Mech units in theater, but there might have been no Guards MRD's available. When you tried to set up the same game at home, did you change regions? I am not sure if this is the problem or not. Would need more info.
  10. Hi all. I know this should be in another forum, but my best chance at response is in this one. I now have 3 scenarios at the depot and not one of them has been reviewed, though they have been collectively downloaded over 700 times. I am very new to scenario design. Never made one in all the years I owned CMBO. But I got into it with CMBB and I really find it enjoyable to create my own fictional battles. I would like some feedback, however, on what should be addressed, what shouldn't be there and anything else. I make most of my scenarios to be played vs. the AI, and I would like to know how others think it plays vs. the AI. I cannot fairly judge that since I know what is coming whenever I playtest them. So I would really appreciate getting these scenarios reviewed at the depot and getting some feedback on things that should be changed. Hopefully I can pick up some things to make my current scenarios better and help make better scenarios in the future. Here are the links to the scenarios at the depot: der Nebel, my most recent scenario. I think that this one is fun and pretty tough against the Soviet AI. I certainly think it can use some constructive criticism! Minor Victory, my second scenario I am very interested in comments on this scenario. It is totally fictional, but I thought it gave a good game against the Soviet AI. Maybe I am wrong? I don't know. I am biased. Please let me know. Pockets of Resistance, my first scenario 'PoR' probably needs a lot of work. I am going to go over this one myself this weekend, as it has been a while since I have looked it over. I will probably find more things to change on my own, but I of course would love to get some help on this one. Have a nice day! -V vsp36@frontiernet.net
  11. Sublime has become one of my most cherished PBEM partners also (I think, not sure if that is his forum name, sounds right, though) He is fast and good humored, but now that I think about it, he owes me a turn in a scenario which he is absolutly waxing me in. the Kalach scenario from the Stalingrad Pack. I made the mistake of taking the Russians and thinking it would be somewhat of a cakewalk... night fighting sucks. Cheers to Sublime!
  12. battles: 4th Armored Division's battle at Singling all I have time to post right now, I will get some more in later...
  13. LOL... Sorry this is a little late. I never enter into gneP threads and hopefully never will again.

  15. I think I have asked this same question before. I might have to break down and compile it myself.
  16. Well, I don't think so. The game will cover the whole spectrum. From the battle of Crete to the desert campaign to the war in Italy, so there will be a good mix of older and "newer" equipment, sort of like what we have in CMBB. Disagree again. Don't let the title fool you, this game will also cover the Italian campaign. I don't know what you know about the topography of Italy, but is anything other than "open and boring." I think it will be an excellent addition and is needed to fill out the CM lineup. I don't think I will like the game more than I like CMBB, but I am an EF freak, personally.
  17. Is this the same bug they JUST fixed in the latest V1.03b beta build? If not can you describe the nature of the bug more accuratly? just curious? -tom w </font>
