  2. Why when I set up a quick battle does the game change the side I had chosen to play! Has anyone else found this?? I thought it was just me forgetting which side I wanted to be but tested it 3 time exact same settings, when I chose my troops and previewed the map it changed the side i was playing (twice) when i when with AI suggestions and no preview it kept me with my selected side. Am I going crazy or is there a bug!!!!!
  3. Agree totally, i have never been one for chasing the perfect score, much better test of skill against the first play of a battle.
  4. I have to agree that i found the stats really useful in CM1 but now i don't think it is a relevant. CMN seemed a lot less predicatable , I would never have sent mortars against a tank in CM1 however now, optics, radio and track damage make it viable. It is a lot less black and white now and better for it.
  5. I have read reports that artillery was very inaccurate and shelling friendly targets was common. In game it is hugely frustrating when it seems so obviously wrong, but maybe in the heat of battle (even if not under direct fire) that is what it was like on the battlefield. It would we really useful for one of the battlefront team to confirm if artillery modeling is how they intended it or if something has gone wrong in the calculations.
  6. I thought it was a really good feature of CM1 that mis-identifications could happen. That Tiger turning out to be just a PzIV etc. Can this happen in CM2? A basic inf or AFV ident would also be a great improvement.
  7. First off I have to say I absolutely love the fact you can see the on screen mortar tragectary and off screen arty seems much more impressive than CM1. However on screen mortars also seems to be less accurate than before. Can you cancel the request when underway (and you know it is way off target) or should it be improving as the spotter also sees it needs correcting??

Would love to have this back P.S. I have $$ burning a hole in my pocket, as soon as I the download option appears I will be buying CMN!!

  11. Looking back at the original CMBO tank list there are many more than showing in the CMN manual. Assuming the listis historically accurate will the add-on modules eventually cover all these tanks? I really hope so!!!   12. I loved the original CMBO demo, really got a sense of the situation in the briefings and loved the gameplay!! Am I hoping for too much from this demo?

Ok I have to ask, as I can't wait to get hold of this game after waiting so long since CM1 (never really got into CMSF etc) As the demos have been previewed around the world they must be in "reasonably" good working order, is the demo release weeks away or still months away?? Can anyone shed any light, or even just a wild guess!!??
