We're not necessarily talking about 4 sides shooting it up. I'd be happy to be able to command an infantry company, while my friend command a platoon of tanks.

Beorix, You can also use winzip, or whatever, to extract the files from the CD. [ October 23, 2003, 03:47 AM: Message edited by: YECoyote ]

Wow, what a difference 4x FSAA makes

Thanks GF. I already overclocked my card. I was hoping there was some tweaking to be made for just the FSAA -

I can't believe it. I have a GF2ti (intel 733mhz CPU) card is better than GF4MX440 (AMD 2000 CPU) at FSAA. Does anyone know if/how I can tweak the GF4mx440? or a good site talking about it? [ February 11, 2003, 01:50 PM: Message edited by: YECoyote ] -
Why CM 2 failed......
YECoyote replied to Maj Soshtokovich's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
If you're complaining that QB Parameters don't allow for Encirclement, then you're wrong to have that assumption in the first place. There has never been any ANY games with such detail built into QB. The idea of QB is to have a quick game setup against human or AI. Not to try to recreate all combat scenarios. Still, I think CM does a wonderful job with OOB. -
Damnit!!! Now, I have to choose between yours and Saturnin's?!? OH THE AGONY!!! [ February 05, 2003, 01:36 PM: Message edited by: YECoyote ]

New Accuate KV-2 mod Realeased!!!!!!!
YECoyote replied to MikeyD's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
It's really too bad the stock BMPs implied that you're looking at it straight on from the side, thus no 3D art (or very little). I Can't wait for the new engine to see more realistic models. P.S. just tried your model in a game, I love the scratch marks on the turret, very nice touch. -
Request for AndrewTF... please?

Beckett is right. Most of the time, my throughput is about 4kbs. not much better than a 56k is it? CM Mod Database site is *very* busy. -

Great Work, Mike!!! I have 1 question. Is it possible to rework the .bmp the make the wheels 3D-ish? That is one of the major problems I find with CMBB/BO models. -
Excuse me. I have only been into wargames for less than two decades, and don't know that many games... The first wargame I know to use WeGo is Johnny Reb (ACW). I don't know when it was first relesed, but it was around in the early-mid '70ies and the latest edition is still for sale. Johnny Reb lent much of it's orders system to Command Decision (WW2) that was released around 1980 and later spawned into Combined Arms (Cold War era) and Over the Top (WW1). It's worth to notice that all of these are miniature wargames though. Cheers Olle</font>

you got the answer just right.

Missing Telephone Poles?
YECoyote replied to B.B.Toys's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
3D effects are model specific (e.g. the smoke discharger on the Late Tiger {3D} vs the smoke discharger on a Puma {part of the bmp for the turret}). Roads in CMBB are just a flat bmp. -
I've played Panzy General. It's a good game for it's time, but it's time has long since past. WEGO is the new wave now. WEGO adds a whole new realistic dimension to the game. I, for one, am very happy Battlefront is leading the way. Welcome to the board. Don't go into the PENG thread. I'm still nursing a bald spot from scratching it wondering what the heck is going on in there.

Anybody know where I can DL
YECoyote replied to Mord's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
here you go... Internode Enjoy. -
It might be date sensitive. Some grog will come a long and tell us, I'm sure. According to Skalman.nu, the Panzer IV/70(a) should have at least the MG34. http://www.skalman.nu/third-reich/equipment-panzer-4-70a.htm
-
if you're refering to the Jagdpanzer IV/70, I think it has a coaxial 7.92 MG42.

I agree. The next one, please include the Mediterranean theatre.
