Well, in pbem, it would take a little longer to make the rounds, but provided the players are all prompt I don't see it being that big an issue. And in tcp/ip, it's no issue at all since everyone's planning phase would be on the same timer. No different than 2-player, right?

2 vs. 2 is exactly what I'm thinking of, and I think the element of having to communicate with your ally would be a great dynamic, depending on how it was implemented. Consider, for example, you're allowed to chat in tcp/ip or send notes in PBEM *only* if you both have functioning company HQs...

Are there plans to ever take the CM franchise and branch out the multiplay (pbem or tcp/ip) to include 3-4 or more players rather than just two? Just curious.
