1. Think about it. In real life, once the minefield has been exposed, I'm sure they put up a warning and send for engineers to clear them (if they want to clear them). Thus, they are marked after they are encountered.
2. Best looking swamp so far. Are you still tweaking it? Maybe you can add a few more trees.
3. You have to make sure your towing vehicle has an equal to or greater than the gun's TRANSPORT Class. I.E. you can't have a jeep towing some BIG gun.
4.
quote:
Originally posted by JunoReactor: I think heavier guns create larger smoke screens per round but their duration does not differ. And, not to be left out, CM is gamey.

Heavier guns from, what I can tell, does have a bigger smoke radius. Thus, you don't waste as much ammo to blind an area. Otto, the Valley of Trouble scenarios, all FO's have smoke.
5. I forgot to mention I ran right by their line of defense...all the way into their rear.
6. In "Valley of Trouble", I dropped a line of smoke from the 3 spotters, and ran the Engineers in the middle of it to the 75mm Bunker. Now, is this gamey? I lost 5 men, but the bunker was taken out easily.
7. I read that CM2 will include Partisans.
8.
quote:
Originally posted by MoJo: Welcome aboard YECoyote, your life will change dramatically afte you receive the full version -MoJo (PS Scooter, is that really you? This is Drifter, if it is you then send me an email)

I hope so. There has to be a reason for existence. Maybe this game will give me the answer to the meaning of life. Fishu, I played Steel Panther, as well as Pansie General. Didn't think much of them either. I think I have outgrown hex-based/turn-based strategy games.
9. I'm running the demo on Win2K with some oddball resolution, 11xx by 9xx. never could remember those oddball resolution values. Anyway, I'll give it a try when I get home tonight. Thanks, all.
10. If you read David's post in a proper context, I think you'll see that he meant it in a joking manner.
11. I hope I will be able to play in better graphic mode than that dinky 640x480 resolution from the demo.
12. Unlike Close Combat, where you rush those Tigers into the front of the line, and have them anhilate EVERYTHING. I played the demo, and tried to rush a StugIII into a team of Infantry. It died a horrible death in less than 10 seconds from a hail a grenades and bazookas. I don't think I can wait 12 days for the full version to arrive. When it arrives, I'm going to take a month's vacation from work
