A chance to ride on a B-17?
CJMello replied to Pvt. Ryan's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
The 17 and a B-24 usually come to my area every year. I haven't ridden on it yet but everyone who did felt it was well worth the price. Maybe next time  -

Scenario "save" and "load" windows messed up
CJMello replied to maxm2's topic in Combat Mission - Tech Support
I ahve heard it is wise to reload your video drivers after updating DirectX. If this new game loaded a newer version for you maybe that is a part of your problem. -
I fired up the game yesterday and found that the screen tended to blink when I navigated around. Almost a thick bar going across the center of the screen. I got out of the game and started again to no avail. Rebooted and found the same. So I deleted the prefs file and restarted a third time. This time it was OK. Don't know what got it screwy. I had just played another title before CM and had no trouble there. Anyone else see something like this?

Well Sparky it says in the lower right. As far as what she is attempting to do; big magnets in the skirts. [ 04-08-2001: Message edited by: CJMello ] -

Very easy, unless you listen to what they are saying on the GICombat board. They make it sound as if we all are struggling to decipher the interface.

Before the padlock comes a quick weather report. *Ahem* The weather today for Eastern Massachusetts will continue to bring us rain in the form of water. Other events will include the sun rising and then setting somewhere in Arizona, probably that big crater thingy

We used to do the same thing but instead of the rollerblades we did it on the icy streets after a snowstorm. Really sucks when you hit a patch of bare road. ------------------ Order, Counterorder, Disorder. - von Moltke
