  1. Heya Steve! I'm really excited by this news. Thanks for discussing it with us. I have not been able to play CM for some time, due to a Mac upgrade. But I still visit this site daily in anticipation of future events/announcements about CMx2. (And of course all the other fun talk.) I have a MAJOR interest in animation and I'm very curious about how the animations will be done for the new version. What they will look like and how they will move, etc. Can't wait to see more! Keep up the good work, Gpig
  2. Oops. I should have asked this before, but . . . Do you mind if we post in your DAR? Or should we just let you go at it? Gpig
  3. Ok. I changed my mind. I'm glad you are doing it this way. This is great stuff. I love reading your AAR's and also realize the learning that goes with it. (Learning for me.) Good luck! Gpig
  4. I agree with M.D.. Do the AAR after the battle is done and let us enjoy it in one sitting. Let's show some patience, people. It'll be good practice for the coming of CM2 Gpig
  5. Cool. Can the Fins used captured KV-1's and T-34's in CMBB? Interesting pictures. Thank you. Gpig P.S. It sure is different from today (duh). But you notice how there is only two automobiles in that whole city? Now days it's hard to see a city what with all the cars ripping about.
  6. I feel buoyed by your positive attitude. Thanks, Gpig
  7. Wouldn't it be great if you could have large AND small tiles. Like, you could subdivide a large tile to put more detailed terrain features where you wanted them. But for large parts of your map you could retain large scale tiles. ??? Gpig
  8. Have the road displace the tracks. Not vice versa. It's actually more realistic. Either way doesn't look good. So a proper level crossing would be ideal. (Mine is a useless post, it is now apparent to me) Gpig
  9. Good on yah. For what it's worth, I did think that Breakthrough overreacted to Dorosh's question. I still don't know what he (Breakthrough) was on about. His first post did/does *seem* out of place. Gpig
  10. Come on you guys. Take it to the (new and improved) Politics General Forum. Let's talk about TANKS, eh? Gpig
  11. Hi Andrew (and all) Yup. Your assumption is correct. I have been fortunate enough to visit this place and have get a tour. (Filled a memory card with pics, as well.) It is something else! It is on Mr. Littlefield's private property so you need to have an invitation. I meant to upload my pics to the General Forum, but it was too much hassle. Now that I have a DSL, maybe I'll try it again. (But they are pretty much what's on the website.) The Panther in question was indeed, pretty cool. Apparently the Germans had abandoned it, but not before setting off a demo charge in the interior. (Or so they say.) Cool place!
  12. Very cool, Gyrene (and Soddball). Thanks for that link. Also, LOVED your CMBB movie. I couldn't tell what happened to that Tiger. Was it knocked out by one of the t-34's? I also love how that german tank crew beetles off at top speed, with shells bursting all around them. Cool.
  13. Cool. Thanks. I wonder if the germans could even win vs the A.I.? Gpig
  14. Anything later than a 2005 release date. Gpig
  15. No. If you can find that dude, it's grounds for court martial! Unlucky, that. I did not think it possible. (accidental off-map route-laying, that is. I've seen plenny of "on purpose scaredy-cat off-map route laying.) Gpig
