Maybe bug? (Panther G side/rear armor slope)
illo replied to illo's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Point is that in 3d model turret is more sloped than hull. In info screen this is reversed. -

Is this just graphical glitch or does info window have wrong armor slopes? -
1. My pioneer DVD drive didnt like CDV copy protection...first it took very long to start game then DVD drive stopped completely from responding. I had to start my computer about 15 times before I got the freaking CD out of it. Ill never put that CD in my DVD drive again. 2. Shoerners anti-censorship loader for CDV version crashes (bluescreen) my computer about 50% of time when I run CM:BB...err Combat Mission 2. I get it to work (the game) 100% of time if I dont mind seeing WG units.(well i do) Not to mention all those funny noises that CD makes. WUrrruuRRR...WOOO..WO..WOOOOOO.WurrRUurr..and so on. 3. I couldnt get CMMOS to work at all with CDV version of CM:BB err...Combat Mission 2:) Even after making renamed shortcuts for exe file it didnt work. I really think I will order US version from somewhere. I just need to get some money for it first, but afterall paying double isnt bad if I get rid of CDV version. ...i feel already better. v . 1.01 "bugs & things not fixed"
illo replied to SuperHero's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I think the majority of us here are absolutely impressed by CMBB and would say that it is not 'unfinished'. Any additional ammendments BTS choose to do is just icing on the cake. Mace</font> -

This is too good product to be left unfinished. I just think your customers deserve finished product? Or don't we? -
Its moddable, yes. I made one with hippie peace signs in CMBO.

Bumping up...this needs to be adressed. More votes for this please! -
Awesome!!! Best winter tank mod yet for CMBB. Maybe best tank mod overall. Looks much better in game.

More MODs Released!!! Big Pix Inside!!!
illo replied to AndrewTF's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Thanks andrew. Just a small nitpick. Could you recenter helmet covers? It seems they are little off. Seam on left side of helmet is streched while right side looks just perfect. Just look closely ingame and youll see what i mean. If you still have layered versions its just few seconds fix. Just saying this because I think im not going to change these inf. mods. Exactly, I hope it wouldnt always reset to default. Hitting a and z all the time can get frustrating. It would be great to have this feature work from mouse wheel. [ November 09, 2002, 05:35 PM: Message edited by: illo ] -

Temp place to download RealColors Mod
illo replied to GunMod's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Gunslinger, could you post your subdued trees and treebases to http://cm.cozog.com/? I think I can live without subdued vehicles etc. But those trees look so much more realistic. -
If its a movie, where are the subtitles?
illo replied to JimF's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
You can dub all those sounds for yourself. I doubt that. -
Thanks for the Feed back on my 1st mod
illo replied to tracer's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Thanks for the mod. Looks great now. -
Not enough north/eastern european looking for me. Those look very good but warmer climate trees. But then again... stock trees are quite fine. Leaf trees could be taller tho. I would like to see something like these... Pictures are courtesy of www.suomenmetsatilat.fi [ November 13, 2002, 07:32 AM: Message edited by: illo ]

Let us hear from you. Scipios sound mods for CMBO are great. I wish he made atleast those MG42 sounds for CMBB. (cmbb has more mg42 sound files than cmbo)

I've completed my 1st mod, PZ III J
illo replied to tracer's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Hi, tracer. You can create a new "layer" with good deal of transparency and then paint on it. (atleast PSP and Photoshop have layer command) That way panels etc. dont get obscured by paint. its all explained better here http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pawbroon/ Looks promising, keep up modding. Stupid person needs help posting screenshots

Follow these steps 1. Most ISPs provide some homepage space for their customers. You should ask them for exact adress of your home folder if you dont already know it. 2. You need some easy to use FTP program like ACEFTP to upload files there. After fast configuration... Server:www.yourisp.com Your username and password for your ISP you must already know:) Uploading files (images etc.) goes by simple drag and drop. 3. Post link to your images in your post using [ November 03, 2002, 12:55 AM: Message edited by: illo ] -
I think there were two or more completed. Pics below show 3 different paintsjobs. (uncamoed one can be same vehicle than either of below) But anyway it doesnt belong to CM. So many more common vehicles that clearly saw service are not included. [ November 02, 2002, 07:10 PM: Message edited by: illo ]

illo replied to Cast Iron's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Get lucky? I hope next time I will be informed when buying unfinished product. It would be only fair. You dont buys unfinished shoes from shop either do you? I am very disappointed if BTS wont include models they left out as patches.
