  1. It was down today Wild Bill, sorry. My stupid provider which serves the website has been doing some screwy things the last few days. I couldn't get back online myself until a few minutes ago after trying for about 6 hours. As for the unit statistic pages, I didn't get much work done on them today just a few tweaks to the infantry and support and I started on the vehicles and tanks. I should be done in a few weeks. I really love your scenarios Wild Bill and I have a link on my website to your great website, "WILD BILL & THE RAIDERS DESIGN HQ'S." 2. Hi Everybody: I spent the afternoon and part of the evening making a cool banner for my website. I'm afraid now that it's just to big and slowing down the load of the website. I'd be very grateful if a couple of you could check it out and tell me how fast it loads. Just right click my link if you would and post here as I have the email notification clicked so I'll know that you respond to this post. Thank in advance, Johnno Visit my website: Dogs of War http://persweb.direct.ca/johnnocm Blessed be the Lord my strength who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight. - Private Jackson (The Snipers Prayer from Saving Private Ryan.)

  6. Thanks Coralsaw, I'm adding more today...I think the vehicles and Tank page will take awhile but the infantry and support page should be done today. 8. Oh MY GOD, you're not going to believe this but after playing tons of Combat Mission for weeks (without so much as a day off.) I didn't even notice or forgot there was a 'withdraw' command? LOL I actually even loaded my game up to check, I really forgot it was there. So for an answer Coralsaw to "Should the withdraw command be... withdrawn?" I say yes! I have on several occasions fallen back with the run command though, survived and all, but I wonder if actually using the command would be all that more productive? I prefer 1-2 turns/replies a day but am happy to go slower if you can't keep up the pace. 13. I thought some of you might enjoy this link, which is a website that supplies WW2 quotes famous and not so famous. http://www.angelfire.com/la/raeder/worldwarIIquotes.html PS- sorry for the swearing BTS but it wasn't me it was him Johnno "There is one great thing that you men will all be able to say after this war is over and you are home once again. You may be thankful that twenty years from now when you are sitting by the fireplace with your grandson on your knee and he asks you what you did in the great World War II, you WON'T have to cough, shift him to the other knee and say, "Well, your Granddaddy shoveled **** in Louisiana." No, Sir, you can look him straight in the eye and say, "Son, your Granddaddy rode with the Great Third Army and a Son-of-a-Goddamned-Bitch named Georgie Patton!" - General George S. Patton, Jr (addressing to his troops before Operation Overlord, June 5, 1944)
  14. Excellent, I must get it, My plan is coming together perfectly. Heheheheheh
  15. In the current operation I'm playing shooting at abandoned tanks is a priority as salvage and repair in the operation is set to high. I've personally played several operations Caranten twice) and can't figure out when the enemies get they're tanks/armor back. I'd assume that if the following day the wrecks disappear that they may show up in a day or two but have never been able to determine this. I agree with 'Formerly Babra' though in what he said but mostly in "It's fun when they 'splode." 16. I've had success with Air Strikes in fact I made an operation if you want to try it on my website that uses lots of "Fly-boys." If you want to watch and understand how CM uses FB's then play the scenario "Clash of Eagles" that comes with the CD. Personally I don't think I've shot down a plane yet however I was really hoping if I did it would crash onto the battlefield, or at least have a chance too; that would be so cool. Happy Remembrance Day by the way everyone! 17. Is uppose it could actually be a phrase from the bible I don't know. I just liked it when I heard Jackson say it after Carpozo was shot by the German sniper in Saving Private Ryan. Therefor I have named it the Snipers prayer. Johnno Visit my website: Dogs of War http://persweb.direct.ca/johnnocm
  18. I have played and finished several large battles and operations including Caranten and have yet to see any "White out Bug." What is it? I had the game crash once when it froze up in a large battle where there was tons of smoke, fire and explosions. I always play with FULL detail on but I have a computer that can take it. 22. I'm in Canada so it's almost officially Remembrance Day, so "Happy Remembrance Day." The men before us gave us the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom; their lives. Please take a moment to try and really understand the pain and anguish many of them had to endure. I tried to start a Tournament on my friend and I's website but had little luck in getting members for it before Saturday Remembrance Day to celebrate the occasion. I have been working on the website to make it 1/2 decent and would appreciate anyones input.
