4. Yep, thanx...I expected this. I was only surprised that one of my opponents predicted the result for both sides exactly on the point. Now my worlds is okay again
 5. That's something I'm still don't know for sure: are the victory points shown during the battle are the real VP, or are they also distorted by FoW? I mean, do they already include unknown enemy casualties, maybe by own artillery fire etcetera or a VL that's marked as '?', but is already taken by enemys out of LOS?

 9. Question to BTS : is far as I know, the successor of CMBB is planned as 'Mediterranean'. Does this mean only North Africa or inluding Italy? If Italy should be included - and IMO this would be logic - the question for a 'CMBO II' is solved - you have the same units, the (nearly) same European landscape and a timeframe that includes 44-45. So what would make the difference to CMBO? Only the scenario text files, and they have no influence on the gameplay.

Didn't want to clutter up the board too much now that I am posting again. Have not seen you post in a long time. This is the man with the first user made scenarios available for download, and a great resource for CM1 production input. Glad to see you are still here Moon. vs

Oh, it's moon. 19. My opinion - the USA can win if they are able to bring their gigantic industrial power into the battle, bombard for several weeks/month everything into peaces what could be a weapon. When the enemy is weakened enough, they show up with ground forces and receive the victory, cause nothing is alive what can defend - or nothing is left what can be defended. And drive home as the heros who won the war with relativ low casualities. See WW1, WW2, Iraq, Yugoslavia. But they get regulary a bloody nose when they are forced to move in with ground troops first. Was it in Panama where the undefeatable SEALs were routed? Or Vietnam, a small communist country with obsolet industry and armament. Nothing vs the USA - before you start whinning . But to have the stronger military force doesn't already mean to win the war. Another example, USSR vs Afghanistan. [ 04-26-2001: Message edited by: Scipio ]
