  1. So I have a sweet spot set up... Narrow LOS and a Firefly waiting for a victim... FF 40_35 Spots Panther by msj_1, on Flickr Victim moves forward and my crew and another tank spots the victim who is then attacked (3 hits) by another tank (during course of engagement), but it is my FF that I know will end the Panthers life... 40:35 Crew shout enemy ahoy!! 40:20 a whole 15 seconds later... FF 40_20 Dies From Panther by msj_1, on Flickr The Crew are a good crew (well bad in my books but on paper a +2 Vet crew... For 15 seconds they have seen an enemy and make no attempt to fire on it what so ever.. Just shown as spotting? Has anyone seen this sort of behaviour before? Is my gunner in wrong spot? Internally I am ARGGGGGGGHHHHHing Moan over (well not really I am still arrrgghhhing)
  2. Yes some excellent models and painting, some of the best in the UK and I had the job of helping to judge for awards. Really tough choices. There are some talented and obsessive people out there. FOW is really a tourney system and could work well for force structures in CMBN, but not sure it will make that cross over. As mentioned earlier would be good to hear how any of these games go.

  4. Hmmm and another thought hit me, the FOW market is massive, maybe a tie in with CMBN to increase the sales of CMBN? Wonder if that could be done? A force selector mod that uses FOW points values?
  5. Well you see something new every day. I must say I like the thought of seeing how balanced the game is by using other rule sets. I am not a FOW player, but I do play TT 15mm WW2 and what an interesting thought. Would like to know if it gives a balanced game, so if you have played this way before please let us know. Hope you get some one to play you, I am busy on other projects at the moment so I can not oblige. Good luck

  7. Yes the best clip so far was the men running away. Great talent you have and you win the award for best video clips and graphics. CK3 wins the award for making me laugh... Between the two of you the best PR for the game and module. Excellent work...
  8. I played tested the first scenario and it was an excellent designed map and a pretty intense affair. If anyone wants to have a crack with me on the second one I will be willing to have some fast PBEM turns to help out the tourney. Use the PM feature here and I will return my e-mail details. Cheers H
  9. FYI I found the previous Games well worth watching and I think both GAJ and C3K are good players. I think your better definition above is just as applicable to GAJ. Just my 2p.

  12. I think it might have been better. Nice accommodation and easier to exit... You know you would not get Hull hit and the turret is pretty good at bouncing rounds. You bug out when the infantry bug out.... Just my 2p
  13. Some people have been persuading GAJ to continue. I think for the purpose of what this set out to do, it has reached an end. It is an interesting debate on when a game should be ended but clearly people have different views. For me, I am with you on this and if it were me (as GAJ) I would offer surrender and move on to something else. Time is valuable.... Anyway, THANK YOU for all your great posts and screen shots. Both you and GAJ have done a great job of showing the new module off and giving us all some great insights on how to play.

  17. 75mm L/46 Pak40 I don't want to tell my Oppo too much, careless talk costs lives I shall have to look out for the scenario you mention... FYI - We are playing on a QB map LJF ME Medium - Open It is a long map and we are talking long(ish) range duels... That duel was just under 700mtr I had managed to get three shots off to his two. Makes a change from bocage but does mean you need a different skill set to play and I am waiting for his Firefly to nail me...
