I really have no knowledge of the tank specs, is it possible or likely that it will not have killed him? The second incoming will help seal the deal if it hits. Are the M60 tank commanders open hatched? Not sure if they have their heads out scanning for threats, you can imagine the OF moment when you see that streaking towards your crew. BTW Nice shot of the missiles inbound.

Yes I was looking forward to seeing the effect of the Arty but it looks like as ever if nothing is under it when it falls it is not so useful, even if super duper modern stuff... The use of Helos has me excited to see how effective they might be.... I guess at close range the M60 can one shot kill the Soviet armour so Bil might be at the advantage in a knife fight?

OK I have had my daily walk of exercise and started the process again by setting up a word doc with license keys as going in and out of orders is a pain and I was getting lost in list. It looks like I needed Engine 3 Key and that seems to have worked, so problem solved... (I hope...)

Well I have got Red Thunder working but CMBN is eluding me with the right activation codes. My original version code says it is invalid as does version 2 and I think 3 I have got the following showing as authorised but game will not play. What is the sequence for activation? My google fuu has failed me on the forum and I am getting a tad frustrated by this license mularky roll on Steam for Cold Wars....

OK I think I know what I need to do, thanks for helping, I am getting overwhelmed with all the different update processes, not a battlefront issue, just me trying to get the new pc up to same position of old pc before I switch over. I just discovered today new pc's don't have cd rom drives, makes sense but I had not clocked the spec did not have a cd rom. It then took me ages wading through Microsoft site to try and get office 2013 on the new pc as my cd rom with the software is redundant. So I guess I had in my mind looking for the link for the all in one installer would be on the patch page but the link is hidden within my orders. I will explore this in the morning.... Thank you for your reply.

OK So after 7 years my new PC has arrived and time to get the games onto it. I want to make sure I only download what I need and have looked at the following patch page. So I have read comments on this forum that you just need Engine 4 all in one installer as it will include everything below it... Yet this patch page states load oldest to newest? So I look at latest patch version and the Readme says So I have to already have a working copy before loading the patch? Should I be looking for another download page as I can see this might have been the case a while ago? Or should I ignore text and just download the 4.03 patch file and that includes everything? Am I being a dunce?

I think Bils explanation covers it. To note that he needed so many hits on one to get a kill was interesting. I guess the crew being hit panicked.

Well we might have it wrong, Bil seems to be doing well and the T64s have not been able to land a blow on their antagonists. Arty on the way and looks like a good area of effect.

Out of interest the loss of the FO and Co HQ, does that mean no one else can call in the Arty? That is a big package to put in one BMP? Was that by choice? Just waiting to see how Arty plays out in this game. As for your choices I guess smoke does not help you and is of no use in hiding your approach?

If they sell enough then maybe they might be encouraged to do more?

Bil is getting his arty ready, it will be interesting to see if this gives him the edge he seems to implying it will. He is certainly winning the initial duels and seems to have a good picture in his mind of what he is up against.

My 7 year old rig ran the games fine so if it is a new purchase I would guess you would be good, but as mentioned the demos are a good free test bed...

So I have decided to update my old rig which is about 7 years old. I have on Pre-Order a 3060 Ti Graphics card (in a brand new PC build) that is being difficult to source and they have offered some other choices... I will now do some google Fuu to see what these options mean.... Not sure I want to spring for the +£179 options but if people have any views about these options I would be grateful.... Cheers

I kinda of expected bigger holes on impact? Is it an engine limitation? I guess it is, better to have small holes than none.
