Can you make such a thing as a meeting engagement in an operation? So that the players start in the centre of a map and can be pushed forward or back in the next battle?

Sorry the "Rifle 43 Squad" showing up are actually Glider troops (april 44). Add in a Glider squad and you will see what I mean. Would they be better off as Para? The orignal had glider?

Whoops sorry I thought I had fixed that, the reinforcements are Para. By setting the date to april you get access as well Will fix.

Anyone want to play test the CMAK conversion of the CMBO operation "Carentan" done by Carlos "Los" Lourenco. Grab the file from here and let me know any problems. This is my first operation so the parameters might be stuffed a little. See my site for details.

Im still doing the CMBO Carantan map into CMAK. Its taking a lot longer than expected being a damn big map. But 90% done now.

Leader Bonus? I recall one time that I had a squad of Russian Parras with a firepower of around 670 points (range <40m, on ambush)!! In fact all 3 squads had 670 points, all within command. They did have a very good leader with double combat bonus. I assume leaders affect support wepons as well but never noticed it.

I have started doing this months ago as I have always preferred his buildings, they dont "twinkle" on my PC setup like the default buildings. I had put them in CMBB and now in CMAK. The un-damaging is very slow and I doubt I will ever finish doing it completely (for personal use only). I live in vain hope that Panzertruppen will redo them for CMAK, they do look fantastic even after all these years.

I only found them in CMMOS format but deleting the extra stuff off their bmp numbers is easy done to make them non-cmmos.

Herr Kruger Did you want that grey Tiger (with flag) done by Gordon? I hope Gordon can get around to editng these to CMAK as the bmp's dont quite match up. Its a great mod of the Tiger. and is available from www.combatmisson.com Its also in cmmos format so you have to edit the file names to those of CMBB if you dont use CMMOS [ May 18, 2004, 09:05 PM: Message edited by: Pud ]

I went from version 4 to version 7. That was very hard to relearn, so think I will save my $$ and stick to 7. They certainly have tried to make PSP more like PS. I suspect v8 is now a cheap clone of Photoshop?

Bits n' Pieces is still alive with updates around monthly. Mostly doing maps now, plus the odd mod now and again.

I ordered it and I think it took a week to arrive in Perth. With the way the aussie dollar is at the moment just do it online.

bummer!!! The advancements of the CMBB/AK quick-battles ability to load in custom maps was a monumental step forward, this is a great shame that quick-operations cant be made possible. FYI Runyan99 I hope to have that carentan operation ready by weekend, will let you know

Thats why these sorts make excellent mountain troops, they can run around the hills (one direction only) with the shorter leg up hill and remain perfectly vertical. If you look carefully and images of Gebirgsjäger you can see this leg length difference.

And of course the well proven fact short people on ski's travel faster in snow due to less wind resistance.

Still trying to complete Morrowind, Jagged Alliance 2 (again), call of duty (mindless fun).

Lets hope so. Will be nice to play using the full capabilities of my card again after sooooooo long.
