Måkjager replied to L.Tankersley's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I have a 32MB Radeon ( OEM ) which i got from OWC at the start of the year . It is fitted to my QS 800DP which is running OS 9..2.2 with the July ATI radeon drivers installed..and as far as i can see..there is transparent / fading smoke. The G4 originally came with the 64MB Nvidia GF 3 card..but i was getting crap visuals with that. Regards Måkjager -
Help! I'm surrounded by MODS!
Måkjager replied to Celtickid's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Hello fellow mac user What you first need is one of the mac mod utility managers.....i use MCM3 by aikidorat. Both can be found here. web page Once u have downloaded either ot both of the apps...download a mod and begin the fun. First thing though is to know that Mac users do not have the ability to just "drop" a bmp file into the " Data Folder". U will need to use one of the above apps to install the bmps that make up the mods. Both apps contain as far as i know clear instructions on how to use the programs. Before MCMC v1.6 arrived there was some difficulty with the amount of winter mods that could be installed....and there is only so many MB that can be installed ( 15-16MB ) in each " data file" that makes up the mac graphic resources. For CMBB....mac users now share the ability of the PC in being able to just drop a bmp into the graphic folder. Hope this is of some help..no doubt a clearer mind may be along to better explain things regards Måkjager [ October 02, 2002, 01:58 PM: Message edited by: Måkjager ] -

COMING SOON - Winter worn Tiger I MOD
Måkjager replied to Måkjager's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Rob..i never made a panther G late Panther mod with zimmerit. The only Panther G with zimmerit i did was the one based off Fernandos. I think there is a typo somewhere giving the impression that there is one. MB i will have to change that Regards Måkjager -
Hi all..well i went off to the Mod mine to see what i could do with the Tiger. Please find a link below that will take you to 6 pix of a WIP Tiger mod. web page It is based on a dark yellow Tiger I mod that i sent to Gordon..who kindly whitewashed it and sent back to me to hack Variants include plain armour / zimmerit covered armour - Mid/dish wheels - late/steel wheels etc. There are 4 rear turret bin tac numbers as well as plain bin ( red/white 222 , 205 , red / white 2 and black/white 3 ) There is still a bit of work to be done on it....so i dont think it will make the next CMMOS mod update...but mb i can sneak it past Madmatt soon after that Hope this gives you CMBO BoB diehards something to look forward to. ps..the pix vary in size from 60k to 160k in size..so please give it a minute or two if you are using a 56k line. Regards Måkjager
