I have close to 500 megs of various mods.I use Hi-res when possible and have no slow down. I have a 700 with 256 megs of RAM and a GeForce 32 meg video card.

Thats a long list. Too bad only 1 is on the east front, and fewer still are "true war" movies. Why do we need romance in a war film????

I second that,even if it never gets used in one of my games it would still look pretty.

It will arrive. In the mean time listen to 109 Gustav. One other usefull tip is to move your computer into your bathroom. That way you won't miss a second of time with CM when you have to go.

In the case os Shermans you can't shoot through them, your rounds simple bounce around the inside and you have a nice little coffin.

Squad leader was my 1st board game. Kampfgruppe was my 1st computer game. I remember thinking it was the most realistic thing ever made and could never be topped. I guess I was a stupid kid.

Actually its a brilliant template, fits my personallity to a tee. I'll have to remember the naming convention.

I'm glad I'm not the only one here who thinks of killing his own troops when they act stupid. I was beginning to think there was a conspiracy against me. Between the computer AI, the fuzzy AI, my inability to keep my troops alive, and executing the dumb fuzzy AI commanders I thought I was a bit sick. Now I'm only average.

Its coincidence. I have read all the treads on the 1.1 armor changes but have not read an account or seen this happen. If you play it 10 more times you'll get 10 different results.

My vote is never get married. I have seen too many woman bitch and complain when a guy acts normal. We all spill beer on the floor, we all leave potato chips in the couch, and who among us has never used a toilet for a pillow?? How women can grip about these little issue's, then think of what they could grip about when they live with you 7 days a week.If you enjoy these things then don't do it.

I doubt we will see partisan'a in CM2. Its possible, but on a tactical battlefield I don't see them being too efective. They do work well in Operational level games such as AOW.Great for slowing down an advance.

I originally thought it was bad luck. I have been playing CM for 6 months now and this chicken Sherman really stands out in my head. Overall I love the 1.1 patch, but I am now starting to question tanks in it. Hopefully I won't have a repeat of the chicken Sherman again. Guess I'll know by this evening when I've done 2 more games today.

I too am starting to think that there is a problem with the AI in 1.1. I had a Sherman in scattered trees turn around a corner of a building to see the REAR end of a Tiger just 60m away.Instead of getting off a shot he sat there for 10 seconds and went into reverse and turned ro put the building between him and the Tiger. I knew the Tiger was there and knew this was my best shot, but the AI got scared and ran off. Next turn I tried the same thing.Same result. A few turns later the Tiger was back on the road and destroying me,all because the AI wouldn't take a rear shot from 60m. I may not be a veteran of tank warfare, but commen sense dictates , 60m + rear = one round in its ass.

Ok, I'm pissed. I have 6 days off and wanted to get a life back. After checking your site I now have 6 days of reading to do.
