  1. I don't know about that. I bought my copy of CMBB because it had a sticker on the box that said, "Now with 50% less fun!" While reading up on the Eastern Front I have wondered why my vehicles don't bog every five seconds and why my troops don't just run for the latrine. I am truly enjoying CMBB so far and am learning a lot in the process. [ November 01, 2002, 04:33 PM: Message edited by: Pvt. Ryan ]
  2. I hope you don't get a huge bill from your ISP for the increased use of bandwidth.
  3. Did you get the Cuban version or the North American version?
  4. While designing a scenario the other day I was purchasing a German infantry battalion. I kept changing my mind about which type to purchase so I kept purchasing and deleting the units. I noticed that the cost was different each time I purchased the same formation. I seem to recall that this was one of the bugs to be fixed in the patch, but I thought I would mention it just in case. I also point this out because putting together a chart may be premature if the patch is going to alter the unit costs.
  5. At least a truck can't kill you like a flak trak can.
  6. I put this translation into an Adobe Acrobat file which can be downloaded here. Thanks for the work WP.
  7. I would rate it T for Teen due to some violence.
  8. At 1280x1024? I will not buy that, unless you're a fan of slide shows.</font>
  9. I have a PIV 2.8 with 512 RAM and a 128 MB GeForce 4 4600. I tried to play the huge scenario "To the Volga" tonight and my computer crashed just reviewing the units on the map.
  10. Maybe Kwazydog programmed the weather parameters. He lives on the wrong side of the planet where the seasons are reversed.
  11. MadMatt said they are adding a few more things to the patch and that it won't be ready before the end of the month. We can start bugging him again on November 1.
  12. Here are some interesting pictures from the Italian campaign in Russia in 1942. http://www.gri.it/gallery/piechi/ I found the site while searching for photos of Russian isbas in the Jabba the Hut/Pizza Hut thread. The last photo is of a Russian isba, if anyone is interested. There is also one particularly gruesome photo, so enter at your own risk. There are also some interesting WWI pictures on the site.
  13. While reading "Sergeant in the Snow" I saw many references to isbas, which are small peasant shacks. Can anyone post a picture of what these looked like? How big were they and how were they constructed? I found a picture. See the last one on this page: http://www.gri.it/gallery/piechi/ I don't think I would want to drive a tank through that. 14. I read it as Topic: Pizza Hut. Can a Tiger go to a drive thru Pizza Hut?
  15. Each Soviet tank was painted a color to match the experience level of the crew manning it.
  16. The image you want to post has to be on the internet somewhere. When you include an image in your post it does not get sent to the Battlefront.com server. You are only including a link to the image.
  17. I loved your response to GB, even though he is technically correct about posting binaries to a nonbinary group.
  18. I put them in my PBASE photo album in case the Angelfire account locks up again. link
  19. So, it seems the simplest and most realistic solution is for one of us to win the lottery. Hmmm... if we each buy 5 tickets...
