  1. I believe there will be, but I don't know what the schedule is.
  2. When is JasonC going to reveal the effects of HVAP ammo on a Boohbah so that I can fully enjoy all that Boohbah has to offer?
  3. There should be a thread where losers have to post an announcement of their defeat, to whom they lost, and how badly. This would not be a tournament, just a hall of shame. The floors would be kept clean and no spillage allowed.
  4. In one scenario I made I had an 88mm dug in inside a sandbag position. One one turn a Stuka dropped a bomb right next to the position and it had absolutely no effect on the crew - not even Alerted. A few turns later a tank off in the distance sprayed the gun with one burst of MG fire and the crew abandoned the gun.
  5. Even if you don't like the game you can still make mods.
  6. This made me laugh, although silently, and not out loud.
  7. Very nice! Shows what a couple of guys on Social Security can do. Make them CMMOS compatible and I'll send you some food stamps.
  8. The gameplay is mostly the same as CMBB, but the dust does add a new dimension because it limits visibility/LOS and gives away the position of vehicles as they move.
  9. I read it too, but when I ordered it from Amazon I thought it was a video about picking up hot chicks on South Beach. I was kind of disappointed when the "wrong" item arrived, but it was a pretty good read. Actually, it was the first book I had ever read on the subject. I have since read The Battle for North Africa, 1940-43 by W.G.F. Jackson, which covers a broader period of time and puts Kelly's book in perspective, but Meeting the Fox gives a lot more detail about the US involvement from the planning stages of Torch to the German surrender. I think the description of the North African terrain and how it was used by both sides helped me prepare for CMAK, which is a theater with which I was relatively unfamiliar.
  10. What literature were you reading, again? Comic books? Even driving a car for 3 days without any rest would be impossible unless you're on amphetamine. </font>
  11. I was going to say that it looked like that site ripped those images off from Close Combat, then I realized it was a Close Combat site.
  12. In another scenario I had British tanks overrunning several green Italian AT guns. Usually the crew surrendered when the tank approached the gun position, sometimes not until the tank was right on top of it. Occasionally the crew would not surrender or even abandon the gun. One crew was down to one man and never did surrender, even after several turns of 2in mortar fire and ranged infantry fire, and with the tank sitting right on top of it. The last crew member finally died when an infantry platoon swept over the position.
  13. You are now 2nd Lieutenant in BFC army.
  14. I like operations and Franko has made some particularly good ones.
