  1. Danes and Low Country hold out again! UK sees Sub, sinks same. Knocks another down to 1 next to Copenhagen, and down to 4 next to Keil. Also, bottles up the Skaggerak, which will really tick Stalin off, as he just loaded up an Army in amphib. On the front lines, French bloody both German Panzers, partially withdraw from Maginot, and hit the Italians as well. In order to more perfectly simulate French/UK discord over strategy, Lars goes to get another beer...
  2. Okay, so in addition to following the rules we have ANOTHER good reason to keep it.</font>
  3. AMD X2-4200+ with a Geforce 7800GT, 1GB Ram. Maybe it's a good idea to seek the garbage dump for a PII 350 to run CM smooth again </font>
  4. Got any other games from six years ago that you still play on a regular basis? As for the hardware, runs fine for me on a PII 350 with all graphic effects on. I don't know what you're running, but I think you got screwed.
  5. Umm, not knowing what other modifications you might have made, it's going to be rather hard to classify this as a bug.
  6. You pull the gamey early invasion of Russia and you're complaining about the Siberians showing up early? Manchuria is meaningless compared to Moscow, what did you think they were going to do? In point of fact, yes, the game isn't balanced to be played this way against the AI. But a human player might have torn you a new one.
  7. I don't know Joe, the thread title is making my eyeballs bleed.
  8. Amphib landed in Denmark, so I didn't get a shot at it. However, the Danes and the Low Countries provided spotting on the German Subs, so the combined UK/French fleet goes in and dings up the Subs. Better now than when the BB's show up, eh? Stalin got lucky on some diving and the storms helped protect him too, only did 7 in total damage. All those Subs withdrawn to Kiel this early, I think somebody put money into Advanced Subs. 9. Yep, that's pretty much what a Navy does. Lots of nasty things you can do with the RN.
  10. Ooh, good point. Forgot about the German lead in chemistry. Achtung! All Wehrmacht Units: Check eyebrows.
  11. Hmm, shall I let the Amphib live another turn or sortie the Limeys? Hmmm...
  12. And you may get lucky and have one pop up near the Russian's line. If you can get him back and in supply, reinforce up 10. Free corps sized unit, great for a garrison.
  13. Could just stuff a coyote up there. I mean, in Patchy's attic, not Mace's top paddock. For Mace, I think a dingo up the billabong would be the correct milieu.
  14. Ya know, if I have to explain why "busty blonde" is appropriate for a German barmaid instead of "busty redhead", it's no longer a joke but a learning experience. And that just ain't my scene, dude.
  15. Seems a bit odd, but there's a weird bit of play balance in there. Italy's diplomat is good enough to cancel out UK's, but not so persuasive all by himself.
  16. Hey, can only work with the comedic material given. You know, the Germans could have gotten the yeast infections by drinking the beer. So we have all these possibilities before we start a stampede towards the clitoris, Watson - John Cleese Threw that last in there for rambo.
  17. Hey, that might work for a round robin. Has anybody tried it?
  18. Hush you. And send a turn so I can finish your crushing. Stalin seems to be going for an early France. Lots of stuff showing up on the French border in Op moves and Italy is coming in early. We'll see if the mpp cost doesn't come back to bite him in the end. Also, UK gets Heavy Bomber 1.
  19. It's going to take forever at this rate, we're on opposite sides of the globe. One turn a day, maybe two. This will be a thinking man's game.
  20. Yep, but you only need to knock them down to under 50%, same as preventing them from arriving at the destination.
  21. So are you suggesting that the problem was rampant yeast infections in the French Army? </font>
