Who said anything about bankrupt? Sheesh. http://www.nathannewman.org/nbs/ Play with the numbers. You can leave defense entirely alone, balance the budget, and even start paying down the debt. Farmers and old farts won't be happy, but then again, they never are... -

They'd flood the market and get pennies on the dollar. In short, an excellent opportunity for the US to buy them back and retire the debt. -

You mean you're not already? I guess give it a shot, you can always convert it over later if what I pointed out happens. -

From the tone of the opening post, I thought limiting the bandwidth and server size requirements were your priority. I didn't even consider profit, as I thought this was just to cover those costs. Look, I'm just pointing out how I'm going to abuse the system. -

Well, I can get a book for free over on Project Gutenberg. But I still buy from Amazon too. Yes, it is icing on the cake, as Moon pointed out in the beginning. And it has to pay for itself somehow. The question is, how? -

Well, sure. But if I download 100 mb of mods for all my games in month one for $5, I think I'm good for awhile. I really think the recurring billing is the way to go. It's not like it's going to be a monthly charge, it's just going to come up when I hit my account limit. Doesn't Amazon do something like this for Kindle? Maybe you could look at that model. -

Seems entirely reasonable, but I think I'd charge on a download amount instead of time, otherwise you are just going to be pushing traffic way up, which is not really what I think you're trying to do. For instance, the first month at $5, I can be a refresh monkey and get everything on the site, why come back for the second month? Set it up for, say, 5 Mb at $5 (just to throw some numbers out) and auto bill to a credit card when the limit is up and reset the account. That way, people will just down load in ones and twos, as they need a new scenario, instead of trying to grab everything. Simple, understandable, and low maintenance on everybody's part. -

Good thing you didn't stay for breakfast. You could have been gone for a month. -
And you left why...?

Also recieved two years probation, or the felonies stick. Which means, he'll never enter the U.S. again. And I figure, as someone started it all by hitting his girlfrind with a wineglass, he hasn't got a prayer of doing so. We're already putting O.J. up at the Iron Bar Motel, this jackass is all yours.

At your exit interview, get a letter of recommendation. In fact, make your exit interview conditional on it, if you can. That way, they can't talk bad about you behind your back later when you put them down on the resume work history.

2 provide 25% of the electric for MN. So 6 more… I said just electric. I'm not worried about fueling funny little cars. You could use the freed-up natural gas and coal for that though... So, build 350 more for the country, if we're just talking electric (we can keep the hydro, Hoover Dam is paid for), and there you are. You can now tell the Canadians and Mexicans to get stuffed. Oddly enough, purchase price would be around $1 trillion. Seems we print that kind of money all the time in this thread. ;^) And as for a place, I'd suggest just building the new reactors right next to the old reactor. btw, the new AP1000 is designed for mass production. Up and running 36 months after you start pouring concrete. -

Got two already. Sure, add a couple more. http://www.eia.doe.gov/cneaf/nuclear/page/at_a_glance/states/statesmn.html According to the guv, build six and we're done, as far as electric goes. Yep, seems unsolvable to me... -
Pfft. You're just a tool for the Jews.

A couple of decades for energy self-sufficiency is a BS estimate. Sheesh, we went to the moon in less time. Hell, even Obama says he's going to get it done in less. -

He missed the biggest reason. Vista doesn't do anything I needed done that XP or even Win98 won't do.
