  1. I've always used realistic scale and don't have a problem with it because you can still embark infantry and move them to positions. I just thought it looked weird and I didn't notice it in CMBO. Thanks for the quick reply.
  2. I purchased some armored panzergrenadiers and after having them embark on their 251/1 halftracks discovered they are kind of half inside the halftrack. When you go down to view 1 you can see part of the squad is visible on the sides of the halftrack and their legs stick out the back like the halftrack has dual exhaust. I don’t know if anyone has witnessed this bug but figured I’d bring it up.
  3. I haven't been having any problem with pre-planned bombardment. Can you adjust the firing plan? I see in the CMBB manual that ME battles don't allow pre-planned bombardments so look at the battle parameters and see if its set for a ME. You might be able to find a answer in the CMBB manual and I'm looking at pages 214, 215 under Artillery Changes. Goodluck
  4. I'm sure people should know the Cd will be inside the manual and not in a jewel case or shrink wrapped to the front of the manual. I knew about the Cd being inside the manual from when I got my copy of CM many years ago. I don't think BTS says on their website where to look for the Cd when it does arrive.
  5. The Cd will be inside the first page of the manual, unwrap it and look inside. I hope this helps
  6. CMBB has arrived in Panama City Florida
  7. Can anyone please post some German 1941 equipment screenshots? I'd like to see some early war armor. Thankyou
  8. Could someone post a screenshot of the Sd Kfz 122 Flamingo? I'd really like to see it thanks
  9. Looks like I won't be discovering the joyful bliss of doing my first CMBB QB today here in Panama City Florida.
  10. I'd say it ships on Friday the 20th and we won't have our copys of CMBB until late next week. That is just my 2 cents.
  11. The postman just delivered the mail for today. I'm guessing no CMBB for me today but who knows maybe next Friday it will arrive. I'm in Panama City Florida. [ September 19, 2002, 11:26 AM: Message edited by: Kestrl ]
  12. Did the prints get shipped out yet or will they get shipped tomorrow? [ September 19, 2002, 02:02 PM: Message edited by: Kestrl ]
  13. I went back last weekend and played the tutorial scenario again as the Germans and kicked butt and knocked the two T34s out with the AT gun and beat back the advancing Russian infantry. I don’t remember what I got for a victory but I was happy and it was cool to watch the death clock in action. I’m really looked forward to the final release of CMBB because I have a couple days off at the end of September and I got a long weekend scheduled for October. I won’t be doing much except experimenting with CMBB and if anyone wants to start a PBEM or TCP/IP battle while I’m on my long weekend let me know. The tutorial scenario rocks! And I can’t wait for CMBB
  14. Thanks for the quick answer Matt; I’ll be looking forward to discovering all the new vehicles in CMBB in a few weeks.
  15. An official list from BTS on what vehicles from the modeling contest made it into the final release would be cool. I want to be surprised on what new vehicles are in the final product so don’t want to know every single vehicle in CMBB but would cool to see what vehicles I’ll get to use around 30 Sept or 1 Oct. I have a day off from work at the end of September so hopefully I’ll have a nice early birthday present this year.
  16. I’ve watched my post from last week gets slowly vanquished to page 7 or 8 but that’s ok with me. I know its been a little busy around the old BTS forum and in the CMBB area but I thought it was a good idea and would like to see it maybe before the release of CMBB. I was around before the beta demo of CM and before they released the full version they posted a list of vehicles which had made it into the final version. I was just wondering if BTS is planning on adding a list of vehicles in the CMBB area before the final release version. I enjoyed reading the list and being very excited about all the different vehicles that were modeled. I also enjoyed the CMBB demo and the 4 hour 33 minute download wasn’t to bad but none of the scenarios that were released really stuck with me like valley of trouble or chance encounter. The person who designed those did an excellent job but who ever did the ones for the CMBB demo could have done a better job. I played Valley of trouble and chance encounter numerous times before the CM release but only fired up the CMBB demo that weekend and haven’t touched it in over a week because the scenarios were not exciting. I didn't have any problems running the demo on my G4 450mhz system. Thanks and I looked forward to the final version and designing my own scenarios. 17. I enjoyed seeing the new armor in the demo but was wondering if there is a plan to release a vehicle list just like the one in the CMBO area? I really enjoyed the vehicle list and looking at my armor encyclopedias and dreaming about using them on the CMBO battlefield. The new screenshots were cool but how about some 1941 to 1942 screenshots of early war equipment and vehicles? Thanks BTS.... took me 4 hours 33 minutes to download the demo but it was worth the wait.
  18. Look under new features in the CMBB area and they have a list of new ammo codes changes HE - High Explosive AP - Armor Piercing HC - Hollow Charge (HEAT) T - Tungsten C - Canister (anti-personnel) S - Smoke F - Flame What you saw was the T34 firing a canister round against infantry. 19. How about the Sd Kfz 122 Flamingo? I did a lot of research on it while building it for the CMBB modeling contest. I really want to watch it suppress some allied infantry with its MG34 and then flame them with either its left or right flame-projector.
  20. Infantry riding on the back of Shermans, tigers, Panthers... ect can't hide while riding. You can place hiding units on the rear of armor during setup while they are hiding but they will return to normal status after you hit go. The W is for wet stowage ( glycerine-protected), the ammunition storage area had a water jacket around it to reduce/contain explosions if the storage was hit and the ammunition ignited and howitzer-armed vehicles had internal armour plates on ammunition racks. I hope this helps
  21. I know when you purchase a FJ rifle platoon or company, each platoon has a panzerschreck team attached. I also keep my AT teams a little to the rear until my rifle platoons spot a light vehicle or armor unless the vehicle is within range of a panzerfaust then I’ll try with one of those first. I don’t see any problem purchasing a few extra panzerschrecks when they were very common on the western front.
