  1. sounds like a great start to the weekend to me man! try CMMODS for some great user-made scenarios and campaigns.
  2. i've been wanting to try that game, is it a resource race type rts?
  3. Chance Encounter by MarkEzra, located on cmmods, it's a meeting engagement adapted from CMBO. Very fun!

  5. There's a scenario on cmmods called "Asmar Crossing" that simulates a bridge/river cutting through the middle of the map well, check that out as an example.
  6. I have to agree with berli, these types of battles are much more interesting for me. I played the scenario, its fun. I think giving the insurgents more ammmo might make the battle even more interesting. I hope to see more Chechen War battles from you in the future.
  7. try "baking" the scenario: give all the ambushing elements the "hide" command and/or target arcs etc. post your results here. the map you are making is shaping up to look very interesting.
  8. bushes, foliage, hedgerows, trees, and forest do not STOP modern bullets in real life. the END.
  9. very good idea. i wish you could acquire weapons from fallen soldiers, like in theater of war.
  10. Which scenarios have proved to generate an acceptable AI performance? I've only played through the first few (in alphabetical order) as both sides so far. Abu susah: I'd suggest you play as the US first to avoid any spoilers. Playing as the Syrians is interesting, however. After I destroyed a stryker(or more) the AI just sat around the destroyed stryker(s). 15 minutes later, 30 seconds left to go and they finally started moving toward the objective. I think the Al Amarah scenario would be really good in a human vs human match. Has anyone started reviewing any of the scenarios?
  11. two year old thread out of nowhere! but seriously, JonS, that was very concise, thank you.
