1. I thought the Badger was a flamethrower carrier, didn't know it was under Armor. I do like how its passenger capacity is a team and it doesn't burn easy. I"ll have to try the Canadians and see how the Badger handles over the British Wasp flamethrower carrier. I wish the Badger had a coaxial or 50cal flexible machine gun.
 2.
quote:
Originally posted by Kevin Peltz: You might want to check out the Canadian Badger, too: it has basically the same flame equipment as the Wasp, but is mounted on a Ram chassis, and so is much more heavily armoured...

I haven't had a chance to check out the Canadian units yet but i will try the Badger next time i get a flamethrower carrier.
 3. The first time I used the Wasp flamethrower carrier it got destroyed before i could flame any Axis infantry or vehicles but I used it again tonight and it turned out to be my best unit besides my platoon of infantry and bazooka teams. I was thinking it range was only 50 meters but turns out its range is 75 meters. I saw that it burns easily but I like the Wasp flamethrower because its fast, has a good amount of ammo and after you button up and find a good defensive position its hard to take out.
 4.
quote:
Originally posted by fd ski: Right now we're limited to two players. Nice and dandy but.. Within next few years computers will progress fast enough so that map 10 times the scale of our Huge could be displayed and processed... I can think of nothing cooler then "web based game" where you have 2 teams of 5 guys each. ( Just an example ) One guy on each team is a superme leader and assigns over all goals to others as well as coordinating long range altilery as well as CAS ( close air support ) Other four have let's say one battalion each to command. Every day ( or two, depending on people involved ) person downloads the CMB file from the server, makes his moves and uploads it. ( new featre would have to be added so that upload would only override HIS units. If someone else downloaded before him and uploaded after him, his moves would have been erased. ) Once all players made their moves - Judge or whoever, executes the turn on their machine and posts it as a movie for all to see. THen they do it again... This would be great to community, causing crations of divisions and other types of squads, all competing against each other. Could be doable in real time too, assuming each player has only 10 or less units to move... What do you guys think ?

Having that big of battle sounds interesting but i don't really want to command a battalion because it would take months to complete just one battle. I know some other companys already have that in the works with infantry, tanks, ships, and aircraft. I'd rather fight a battle turned based with a rifle platoon and a couple halftracks.
 5.
quote:
Originally posted by pritzl: Seriously, is there any chance of getting it before this weekend? I keep hearing about all of the things it fixes and It seems like it's been ready for a long time now.

Hopefully this week we will see 1.03 and fix that bug with SP AAA
