My apologies if this has been asked already, or if this isn't the proper thread in which to ask, but is it possible to submit a scenario pack as a single entity to the depot? IOW, when they d/l it it will contain all the scenarios of that pack, much like how B & T does with the Stalingrad or ROW packs.

If the gun was given an 'armor only' arc then the jeep would not have triggered it.

Operations sometime exhibit this, and it has nothing to do with patches, pbem helper, etc.

Allied Armoured Cars with 75mm guns - question
Kingfish replied to Hans's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
The Staghound II also has a 75mm gun, although it fields the shorter L/25 vs the L/38 of the Staghound III. Edit: correction, the Stag II has a 76mm L/25, not 75mm. Edit again: The AEC III A/C, which is listed in the armor column, fields a 75mm L/38 -
The Patch Still did not fix this.......................
Kingfish replied to legend42's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
The 1.03 patch went thru several different builds, and like Sergie said the bug could have slipped in at the last minute. Speaking only for myself, I did not test the pbem or TCP sequence, but instead concentrated on TO&E issues, as well as running tests to check out what others have reported here in the CMAK boards. -
You are welcomed. Note that you can use the same procedure to place destroyed churches or buildings on the map.
-
There isn't a destroyed bridge graphic for CMBO. For CMBB and CMAK the procedure is as follows: -Place a rubble tile (not flat rubble) on spot where bridge will go -Preview the map -go back into the editor and replace rubble with bridge tile -preview again

Mortar HTs are crap. Discuss/analyse.
Kingfish replied to pawter's topic in Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord
Among many other things Correct, and I agree with you. This has been fixed in CMBB and CMAK, but is still (and always will be) a limitation in CMBO. However, there are many other targets that a mortar HT can deal with. As with tanks and other armored vehicles, it is best to neutralize the enemy's AT assets first before rolling them up. -
CMAK: August Bank Holiday?anyone?
Kingfish replied to imported_mike_the_wino2's topic in Combat Mission - Scenario Talk
Mike, Sorry about the wait. I completely forgotten about this, but I did send him an e-mail back in June. Maybe you'll have better luck? -
Any evidence of landing craft in that pic? Having just landed a battalion sized force, you would think there would be several boats ashore, as well as others ferrying supplies in and wounded out.

Bump for Bogdan Did you find the map of Noyers-Bocage?

Need info on battle for the Crozon
Kingfish replied to Kingfish's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Dandelion (or anyone else), Any info on the makeup of Festungs-Stammtruppen I/XXXV apart from the HQ / 8 company structure you mentioned earlier? Since CM does not have Festung units, what company size unit would be the equiv? -
Looking for transparent smoke & dust
Kingfish replied to Krautman's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Sounds to me like you have your smoke setting at 'fast and compatible'. Next time you have smoke on the screen hit shift-I to toggle to 'high quality'. -

[blown out of proportion rumor] The inclusion of the Cromwell, King Tiger and Pershings has increased the Patch size to just shy of 2 gigs. A PTO add-on is also included.[/blown out of proportion rumor]

Op Dragoon - head north or east?
Kingfish replied to Kingfish's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Liddel Hart's "History of the second world war" mentions an army group headed by Rommel being dissolved once the allies landed at Anzio*, and those forces being placed at Kesselring's disposal. What units were in that AG, and where were they located? IIRC, He (Hart) mentioned northern Italy. *I could be mistaking the Anzio landings for the earlier ones at Salerno. I no longer have the book to reference. -
A possible solution would be to make the Brit 3" mortar team immobile once they disembark from their prime mover, but still retain the capability to embark if required.

nevermind

That doesn't mean anything. Pointe-du-Hoc was bombed from the air prior to the invasion. That pic could have been taken a week before, or a month after D-Day

Oh oh... ...I may have a modern 1:25000 topo map of Noyers-Bocage... ...does it helps ? </font>
-
Excellent. Thanks for testing it
-
You can thank Sir Thomas for e-mailing me the link. He and I are happily bombing each other to hell in Noyers-Bocage. Now, if I could just get a 1:25000 map of that area....

The map of Thury-Harcourt was extremely helpful in my design of the scenario. If you d/l the map you can zoom right in using image preview. Another good one is the Falaise map, which includes St. Lambert-sur-Dives as well as hill 262.
