MadDog Mod Pack 1 & 2 are pretty essential. See the list at Manx's Combation Missions site. Also find the FAQ with link below in my web site (the latter is a shameless ad). Griffin.

GriffinCheng+ replied to Panzer_Meyer's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
So how is your title img doing? Personally, it is a good site. Just one personal nitpicking -- the email image is kinda hard for me to read. The pattern on it looks like camo. Griffin. -
Early war Russian tank crew experience
GriffinCheng+ replied to André's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I read the comics version from a Japanese comic books called "Monster on the Road". Intesting story. And iirc, there is no clue whether this tank was simply lost its way or being sent to slow the Germans. Tanks Better Than Infantry?
GriffinCheng+ replied to Chris Cline's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
CA, next time, put spoiler alert when you mention specific scenario/operation. Henri and I are having a double-blind game on this scenario. AND NOW you have blown all the "covers"!!! Great! Thank you very much. Griffin. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by CombinedArms: If you want to try out the scenario Augen Zu!, which I just brought up in the scenario forum, you can find a scenario where 18 Panthers, plus a battalion of infantry, can lose to a zook, AT, infantry team with just 4 Hellcats. It all depends on terrain and visibility--plus tactics and luck....<HR></BLOCKQUOTE> -

GriffinCheng+ replied to Panzer_Meyer's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
And on Mac IE 4 & 5, it does not show the image and cannot even load it! Strange, probably my inital analysis is wrong, it could probably be an IE bug.... But somehow, if I rip the file "panzer.jpg" from Netscape, I can open and view this graphics in IE, now gotta be somethin wrong in here.... Griffin. [ 04-21-2001: Message edited by: GriffinCheng+ ] -

Rommel, After a quck check on your site, appearently there is an "open angle bracket" or simply "less than symbol" shown on the top left corner of the page between the "Home" link and the "Free Banner". It shows up in Mac IE but not on Mac Netscape. I suspect it may be an error in your HTML but sorry I have no time to run through it in details cause I am about to go out on some personal business. One thing is, IE is less torable to HTML errors and so be careful. I am going to rip your HTML source page to my Powerbook later tonight to see what has possibly gone wrong. Stay tune. Griffin. Order of Battle series of Books
GriffinCheng+ replied to Capt. Toleran's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Let me guess: are you talking about "German Order of Battle" series by George F. Nafziger? For German Panzer OOB, many would recommend the two volumes of "Panzertruppen" edited Thomas L. Jentz. Griffin. -

PBEM with Mac and PC?
GriffinCheng+ replied to Dr. Brian's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Not to mention that programs like WinZip handles HQX and BIN files as well. On Mac, you may wish to try ZipIt as well. russellmz, I think you should put this thread into your FAQ. Regards, Griffin. -
If Franko read this, please respond, I want to obtain more information about your latest operations and other questions I sent you earlier. Thank you for your kind attention.
