Good Lord! Hearing OGSF talk with a mouth full of haggis gives me a headache. As for the rest of you useless gits. My weekend has sucked. I won't bore anyone with details (I know you don't care). But I could swear I renting on of Berli's summer cottages. Reguarless. No turns went out this weekend. Hopefully I'll get them all out this evening. I'll give you the play of the day, you can decide how much of a gamey cheat he really is. ... a pair of american tanks roll up the hill and into a corn field. They manage to spot a tiger hidden in some scattered trees at about 700-800 meters. One of the allied tanks fires! One shot, one kill. Frontaly against a tiger at 700-800 yards hidden in trees.... umm, All this just seems to agree with my gut feeling on things. I haven't got any hard data. Just some small interviews and things like have already been posted. Personally I think that firing should be allowed at any speed. Doesn't take much just to pull the trigger. But, non-moving firing was obviously the best. I think AFV's should be able to target units and fire using "move", with penalties. I think AFV's using the "fast move" shouldn't be able to target units at all. Best they should be able to get is an area target. Lorak

Capt, While I support your cause and your ambition. I am afraid that what you are seeking can not be found. There were a lot of post about CM when they were using diffrent forum software. So the latest post you'll find here is just when they changed software, which will be nowhere near the first post. Lorak

Holy Berli! Now when I saw Elvis go on his crazy anti-number jihad in the MBT... I thought "gee, Peng must have left a bottle of scotch over at the house and Elvis got crazy while the babe was crying. But good Berli man! I didn't think his psycotic-nuerotic behavior would actualy spread! As a side note, Elvis's system does work if you don't plan on saving or reviewing your games. But for the life of me I don't understand the "takes so long to clean out my PBEM file" crap. I generally save the games I thought were good. So I like to number and review where I screwed up (not that it has ever helped). But what takes so long to delete crap? 2 windows examples(MBT numbering left out for clairity) 1) I have a folder for each PBEM game I am playing. To delete this game after it is over... right-click folder hit delete. Tada! whole game gone in umm...2 seconds or less. 2) You plan on a re-match so you want to leave the folder. Open the folder, click on the first file, hold-down shift and click the last file, hit delete. all files from that game are gone. again another 2 secs or so. What the hell is the big deal here? I have right now 18 PBEM folders and games going. I can have all of them delelted in oh... 2 min or so. I just don't get the big time factor that the anti-number Jihad keep taking about. We happened to come across another group sitting around in thier jackboots fumeing and yelling a trees, rocks, fencepost... that they could prove HMG's could run. As denzines of the pool, we felt it our duty to prove they were stupid. We gave all of them a HMG, tripods, barrells and cases of ammo. We then sent them off running. Needless to say we gave chase... well what chase there was. We tried to encourge them by hitting them with rocks, bottles, poodles, anything that came along. But they just couldn't run that fast. Eventualy we gave them so much encourgement that they died. Let it never be said that we didn't try to help the OB's... By the way I am glad you got our message. (Kitty points to thread title).
