Lorak

Am i missing something? I've won LD from both sides. Played as germans first. I lost one stug when the hellcats showed up.. but keeping my tanks safe is just the way i normally play. My problem is i always loose my half tracks to mortar fire. And as the allies (played them second time, so i had an idea of what was comming) But i always loose one or two of the hellcats as soon as they show up. I issue move fast orders as soon as i can.. but to no avail. Anyone interested in a PBEM game? I'd like to play a human to see how bad i really am. well I'd have to say Panzer Gen. and does anyone remember a game called "patrol"? was done like soldiers at war. but a long time ago. also loved x-com. The CC line is good. I don't get the bitching about CC4, it has some problems, but is still fun to play HTH. Lorak P.S. For those playing Delta force 2.... I loved the original, but the demo for DF2 lagged like crazy, has this been fixed? and i'm running a p3 500 with a voodoo 3000. so i know its not my machine. ------------------ "A stupid man dies a stupid death."

Greetings all. I have a question concerning Rubble. First, I don't want anything to delay CM, so maybe this could be looked at for CM2. Is there anyway to "show" Rubble? For example, maybe make a 1 story house and texture it to look like rubble but not affect LOS? Just wondering if any of you mod-junkies could improve on the black square. ok, on the half-life WW2 game. It is called team fortress 2. It is a stand alone product and is based on teams. Teamwork is the key, Game should be out real soon and looks real good. Read about CSL years ago and thought "that would be great!" Then never read any more and really forgot about it. I was reading reviews on CC4 and someone had mentioned CM as being more realistic. So i came, checked it out, been here ever since..... Now if only i could stop playing the demo my every waking hour so i stop hearing my wife yell "just what in the hell did you do all day?" Well, one thing most have in common is that they don't like talking about it much. But here is what i've got from my grandfathers. I started playing squad leader when i was about 15. This caused me to ask my grandfathers about their roles during WW2. Surprise, both were in the battle of the bulge.(not sure of their units off the top of my head, so forgive).My mothers father was a heavy machine gunner. His foot was ran over by a half-track.It was so cold and the fighting so bad that he didn't even know it for 2 days(due to frost bite).He lost most of his foot, but he considers that lucky. My fathers father served under patton. He was a gunner in a sherman 75.He served in 4 tanks during the bulge due to them all being knocked out.He was lucky too. Caught a bit of shrapnel from the tanks, but he lived. Not too many that were in 4 tanks that were knocked out can say that. Sorry this post is long, and thats all i've got off the top of my head. If I would have known my every waking hour would be sent either playing the demo, our searching the web for just one word on this game i haven't read yet..... Well.. I'll start off by saying i'm a new commer to CM. But from staying glued to the net for the last couple days trying to read and catch up on every detail of the game, I've reached the verdict that BTS is one of the best groups going.I would no more cheat them than i would my mother!
