First and most important. Congrats Elvis! Hope you have lots of beer handy....you'll need it. Now. Damn it is sure nice to be back home. What a miserable hell filled two weeks I have spent. It got so bad a couple of times that I knew I'd see Berli driving my cab back to my room. I have told you all, many, many times. Just how big of an idiot I am. Well.. Let me prove it again. Knowing that I would be out of town for a couple of weeks. I went out and bought a laptop before I left. Loaded up CM, downloaded the patch, and spent several hours grabbing all the mods and getting things purrfect. Next morning the van shows up, I throw in my luggage and off I go, thinking about a nice working vacation in florida. Sadly... I am an Idiot. A loser. A complete and utter moron. Yes I go to check my luggage and notice that I left all my carry on baggage...on the kitchen table at home. So I have been in an internetless hell for the last two weeks. Sigh...Is it any wonder that I truly loath myself? Now to business. I owe everyone turns. I am going to start by just sending the last turns I have back out to everyone. You guys should have them this evening or first thing tomarrow. For the tomb updates, would it be possible for you guys to just mail me your game updates? Damn it is nice to be back home. Since I have been out of town since friday. I have no idea if any game results were given before the forum crashed. If so please be so kind to repost them or just e-mail me (e-mail link is in my sig). Well since my kompanie is insisting on keeping me out of town for long periods, and since all thier damn laptops are loaded with NT. Umm I find that I like the germans because I really like the shreck. Thier tanks are a little harder to take out, but with some room and knowhow they are not that difficult. Personaly I find the american infantry to be harder to deal with than the german. They have greater firepower at range. So they can sit back a little further and cause some damage. Also thier 12 man squads give them an advantage in that they don't lose as much firepower per casualty. Just my .02 Lorak

woohoo, Yes folks and pods. I actualy had time to process and send turns out today (some were resends that I don't think made it the first time.) Father Peng..Father Peng... That has a really bad sound to it. But considering how disfunctional we all are, it fits he would be the father of this little "family". My games are on the depressing side. It seems that no matter how I try, the VL's just get further and futher away. I'd also like to take the time to welcome Emma back. It is always nice to have at least one or two posters around the pool that aren't total idiots. Adds a little class to our crass. Now for this boy-seeker. ok, Fine by me. I am not about to start political discussions in the pool. I'll also go on record as saying terrorist deserve whatever they get. But it is the goverments duty to make sure who is who before you start shooting. Now.... for confessor of the pool... My vote would have to go for Hiram/Phan or mensch. Hiram because he can be nice and yet lash out at the same time. You never know exactly what you are going to get when you approch him. That is a good thing in a confessor. Will I get a nice talking too? Or will I be jumped upon like a teenage....won't go there. But you get my drift. Mensch would be ok in that he is a lunitic. Ahh greetings oh people who spawn hatred and much misunderstanding. It is I Lorak. As some of you know real life work has been causing me fits lately. It sadly is taking all of my free time to well...what ever we idiots tend to do. I would give a game update, but sadly there hasn't been much gaming the last couple of days. I will try to get those files out this evening or first thing tomarrow. I also would like to thank Mace for not running in here and laughing his damn head off at my utter lack of skill shown on-line this weekend. While I am sure he still might at some future date, it was nice to see that it wasn't the instant he stoped laughing..if indeed he has stoped yet. Lorak the loathed P.S. I just remembered that my number is less than 1000... So I need to add some grog info. In november of 1939 during a military parade 2 BT-2's broke down which resulted in design changes to improve reliabilty and battlefield potency. (yada yada yada) this lead to the production of the BT-5 with the 45mm anti-tank gun rated at 760m/sec and 1 7.62mm machine gun. And of course we can not forget the BT-5V which as a comanders tank had a frame around the turret and the provision of a radio in the rear turret overhang.

LOL, I really find all of these threads funny. The sad fact is... a lot of the poolers are grogs. They just don't like to admit it. In fact most of the interesting grog topics brought up on the main board usually get hashed over between us anyway. We just tend to discuss them in a less dry manor. For me being a pooler is really simple. I have a steady stream of games from a lot of good gamers. The biggest plus is the ease at which games start. Just a small chalenge and the points involed. No need for rule disscussions, no need for land, equipment and units to be decided. Because all of us (requardless of how we bash each other) know that the person we are playing will provide a good and fair game with a mind towards historical detail. Unlike most groups, although I do keep track, wins and loses mean nothing. The playing of the game is all that matters. I believe this is the main reason BTS allows us to continue. We are playing the game and more inportant, we have a lot of fun doing it. This I believe is the goal of any good game, reguardless of type. Lorak

I wake once again drentched in a blood tainted sweat. The vision haunts me as much in my dreams as it does during my waking hours...the pool.... I see them nighty now. The drowned faces of those tossed in by the masses to be forgotten. Thier round, bloated faces, as white as the moon, stare up at me through the depths. What evil have I done to deserve such a fate as that which now stands before me? God, can it get any worse? The eyes.. the eyes watch me. They follow me about my daily task. Mocking me, laughing at me for resisting. They know that thier persistant calling will pull me into the pool, to drown among them, to become another bloated corpse preying upon the thoughts of the living. How deep can this pool possibly be? How can so many souls be trapped in that small space? But I see thier plan, I see the deeds that they wish to unleash. They will call others, who will in turn lend thier voices to the mass beckoning of the pool. Soon now..soon the bodies will be so thick that by mass alone they will spill out upon this world of the living. Then revenge will be thiers. No longer will they need to fester in this dark place. No longer will they be forced to listen to taunts upon thier person or thier homes without being able to respond in kind. The pool is rising, even in my dreams I can make out details of the faces clearly. It won't be long now.. hell hath no fury like a pooler scorned...be afraid, be very afraid...
