  1. I have sent a new operation to the depot. Its a 3 battle fight with 35 turns per battle. I have tried to recreate the battles for Warschau in 1944 by the Polish free army. The editor had some restrictions in mapbuilding for the city but I have largely rebuild the post war city center with the bridges leading east to the industrial complex. These were the 3 main targets the Polish troops fought for. Battle is playable from both sides against the AI but its best played in a PBEM/TCP session. The better player should take the Polish troops. Its a large sized battles with a nice forcemixture for both sides. Some of the troops in the OOB are historical but I had to improve a lot to fill in blanc spots. Its my first operation so please send me any critic or bug report you can think of. Let me know what you think of it! Stoffel
  2. If you use the light small wooden bridge than only 2 squads with demo charges will do the job of blowing it up Its even better if you have a high power blast HE weapon near it.
  3. hey Panzerman, you can send me a setup from one of the battles you havent played jet we can make a nice AAR too
  4. Hi Rob You should contact slapdragon or Mannheim tanker and ask them how they run their Onion war campaign. After some modifications we are now doing part 4 of this and its really fun. Those guys can give you all sort of advice in creating battles and how to do the administrational stuff regarding the units henk
  5. First change the setup areas. Than you should also change the setup positions in the editor manually. Meaning that you have to put the troops in their new positions yourself.
  6. If you mean a fire support barrage to arrive at a certain time at a certain place than there is a way to do that you can choose an off map artybn and change the delay in the arty options menu. i.e.you want a barrage of 155mm in 30 minutes at a given spot. change the delay for the first rounds TOT to 30 minutes and place the arty marker on the map where you want that barrage to fall down its not ideal but better than nothing Henk
  7. HI cavscout, yes I am back again, found another job(I work for Hewlett Packard printer department nowadays) Just returned from a one week holiday. Wasnt it a battle from hubs website which I beat you in?
  8. LOL tim, Good point,I totally forgot about this topic
  9. Played the scenario and I loved it. It was a long time ago since I lost a game to the AI,I got a draw with this one. The AI did a nice job to try push me out of the town. The counterattack at the end almost throw me off balance. Good work!
  10. LOL. I have that book too. I tried to rebuild the battle for the town of Jevzek, same area, same conditions. named: Jevzek I will dl your scenario, please have a look at mine. Henk
  11. Hi gunny, I cant reach you at your email adress nor at the adresses on your tourneys website. please contact me Henk
  12. try my bocage fun for a change,or better my may 1940 scenario. you will like it
  13. Battle ended. I won  Overall its a reasonable scenario, But I would skip the exit zones ,at least the river should be out to give the Russians a better chance to exit troops. Another way to improve it is to degrade the experience of the Germans. After all the police units werent the best combat units available...................... A good player can smash the Russians with ease Henk
  14. Hansson is very right about that. I have completed my encirclement with the two fords as the main point of defense. My HMG teams cut down everything that moves from the citycentre the reserve force is entering the town Things are going well for now
  15. battle is well underway now. No fancy stuff,no armor just plane old infantry. Set up areas are OK,only drawback in my opinion is the exitzone. Its quite clear to the germans where the Russians have to go too. In a way you can make your plans according to that fact. But I planned to do a two flank attack which works quite well till now. More reports later on.
  16. whats bigger than 42"?? the screen or the guy next to it sorry couldnt resist
  17. Its valley of trouble. There also is a revised version named VoT 2. Its also converted for CMBB. Its not on the original cd but i saw its on the new retail version cd. Amnd of course its downloadable at the depot.
  18. hmm, that sounds interesting...maybe a small bit of the puzzle to be revealed??
  19. Its good to see somebody who has comments on a scenario. Now it would be better to name the scenarios in question and give your opinion about them in the form of a review, than the designers can do something about it.
  20. good,I suggest this topic is a good place to do updates on our battle so future spoiler warning for new players!!!!
  21. Hi Hansson, You can send me a setup,I am interested in this battle Henk
  22. well,I based mine on the stories I got from the battle. I have the biggest part of the German OOB and the British one,had to add some extras though. The map is based on what I could make up out of the replies from the eyewitness stories. You promised to review my CMBB Seelow scenario though, any chance that you do it soon?
  23. seems rather untasty to me,given the fact that US soldiers still risk there lives overthere.
  24. is that my version of Bourgebus ridge scenario?? or did someone else made one too?
  25. sgtgoody: What gun did you have in the army, the SAW? I like to know what malfunctions/problems the gun can give in various conditions i.e. like in snow/heavy dirt/mud and so on. I also like to know everything about safety issues, like is it possible to accidentally fire the gun,or if its possible that a bullet can get in the chamber by accident. The SAW will be introduced in my unit around octobre. The instructors do not always tell everything. Henk
