  1. Thanks for the reply! After my across the bridge battle(which was very bad)I have improved my battlemakingskills,I also took advantage of having a few good players for testing. If you liked this one you will certainly like the 1940 scenario I have made. Would you mind to write a review for the depot? Henk
  2. Thanks for the reply! cant wait to read the rest of it... You seem to do much better than the guy who did a review on the depot and better than your historical counterpart On the other hand, the historical commander thought that all Germans were dead because of the airbombardment while you have absolute the knowledge something is waiting for you:D The huge number of rough terrain tiles was done to give you not too much chance to avoid the historical ambush.
  3. Trommelfeuer please read the German briefing after you played the battle. it contains a nice story about a brave officer. Rune Seelow is CMBB,you asked me to send it to you and to Warphead.....If I am right I think you told me Warphead had a lot of stuff about Seelow, but it could have been someone else too
  4. correct,at least from what i have read, the allies launched a massive bombing campaign with heavy bombers. The allies thought this should be enough to soften up the German defense,in reality they only knocked out some infantry and some scattered vehicles. One of their first columns drove straigth into an ambush by a Flak battery and Stugs. The airattack had one advantage,a Tiger company was hit,and their aiming devices were damaged. Still those tanks remained as a formidable threath. Btw Rune, I am still waiting on comments from you about this scenario and my seelow battle..... Henk
  5. which version did you play? mine or Runes? If it was Runes than you should try mine and play it as the British........ available at the depot Henk
  6. I suggest you to load a battle in the editor and make the changes you want. Try it with one of the small battles from the cd See for yourself what happens.
  7. yes there is. your Fo must have visual line of sight of the area where your spotting round(first round) falls. Look for the place where that shell lands and see for your self if your FO can see the spot. If he cant than adjust the fire mission.
  8. Oren, very interesting, can you send me that map too?
  9. yes all those packs you named are out. they are available for download at the scenario depot. Henk
  10. thanks, posted it there maybe I will post my other battles as well.
  11. Hi guys, its now a few weeks since I posted this 3 battle operation. It has 280 downloads so far,is there anyone who finished it jet? I would love to hear some feedback. Same goes for my volkssturm scenario. Henk
  12. Hey Michaels, seems like you guys have a big fan. very fun reading that topic about who owns this f...m,I dont dare to write the entire word (afraid for being b....d)
  13. If they meet a tank it doesnt matter but it becomes something different when they encounter infantry. Normally with a movement order they will pass an infantry unit, with a high chance of getting killed, that changes if they have a hunt command.
  14. When I was testing a new made scenario I saw something interesting. Played with FOW off to see what the AI does and how it would handle its troops through the terrain. When I looked at a group of 251/1's they all had a Hunt command!! I tried this playing the Germans myself to see if the latest patch might have changed something but no,I wasnt able to give thenm a hunt command. So whats this? Its not fair if the AI can give such commands when a human player cant. Henk
  15. which reminds me,we have never played a game Michael.... would be about time after all those years
  16. Toad, Another way is to have a group of players play like the good old days of tacops Cpx. Two guys actually play the games. All others get a situation map with an order and they have to make a plan with the info they have. After that the two players with CMBB Or CMBO on implenment the orders and give regular feedback. Its even better if you have some voice over comms program on with all players a round. Unfortunately I have little or no time and soon my internet comms are down for a few weeks due to problems at home. very serious ones....
  17. no I am not a latecomer started in 98 with the beta demo too time flies should have taken a nick with an A in front maybe than my number would have been lower
  18. LOL, the number only counts if you have a two or three digit number than you might call yourself a crog............. hell than what am I....
  19. kasserine battles All I can think of right now That should be a great one for an operation
  20. Thanks Bill, I will keep that in mind for the next time btw my remark wasnt meant as flaming or angry,it was just a thought. Henk
  21. Bill, A small remark to your third statement: Not everybody here speaks or writes perfect English,I once wrote a briefing which I thought was perfect. An English teacher looked at it and made more corrections in the text than my own teacher at school ever did in my whole school carreer Meaning even though the text is bad the scenario can be good. Henk
  22. thanks for the review! just imagine I had to tweak the german OOB,they had about 25 times more guns of various types available in the real battle in real life the battle ended in a big slaugther too mc Auliffe made a great operation about this battle.
