Ooooh yeah..very nice. MadM, Fionn and me (said the fool) are having such a nice and friendly relationship, and then some "follower" starts a web-war. My days are over, i'm going back to my old Mastersystem and start playing "Alex Kid in Miracle World" again Or i just bribe BTS and make sure the gold-demo is only downloadable from panzerShark.com...mmm i wonder which option will work -

Pleased to me you, won't you guess my name...
PanzerShark replied to Black Sabot's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
PanzerShark goes a very long long way back My first name was WhiZ (going way back to the zx-spectrum). When games offred a last name in games i used WhiZ SewerShark. "Shark" because i love sharks and "Sewer" to give some "mean/dirty sound" to it. When Sega made the game "Sewershark" which sucked bigtime, i wanted to change my name for safety reasons In those days i already played lotsa wargames and used to call myself UberWhiz when i could. But since it uses the word Uber and people can be offended by it, i changed to PanzerShark. So that's how. When i play strategy/action-games it will always be PanzerShark. In RPG's i'm known as bathor Soulkeeper. But that's way off-topic so i'l shut up now...thank you PanzerShark ps. The capitol P and S should be in the name...or it's fake -
Question for Big Time Software
PanzerShark replied to KiloIndiaAlpha's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
True there Kilo. 340 mb is not much when ya have a fast conn BUT why bother? I ordered many games online and it took 4 days to recieve them (some a week). I've been waiting for over a year now and i don't mind waiting one extra week (or 2) for shipment. Also, when it's up for download you will proly download the ISO. Meaning piracy is much easier. Be patient my friend. -
Update at Matrix
PanzerShark replied to Wild Bill Wilder's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Somehow when i see shots from the SP-series, they always make me install SP1 and 2 immediately. Must be some hidden messages or something that make me do so Thx for the screens (and sounds) Bill. -

WWIIONLINE, now I am really interested.
PanzerShark replied to a topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
I think the graphics are oke for such game. Better less graphics then humongous lag. Although it all sounds great (assaulting with 20 tanks. 50 inf and some fighters all controlled by human-players), i'm affraid that the teamwork wil ruin this game. Maybe a bit doom-thinking here, but most multiplayergames have great multiplayerfeatures but very little teamwork. Still interested though -
Sorry Charles/Steve for posting BEFORE this official announcement. Guess i have no life except for refreshing these pages every 30 secs Oooh and good news too
-
Realplayer? I think you should change your windows-settings since it's an AVI-file for me
-
Oke...done downloading...see it twice and all i can say is: WHAAAAAA...new stuff......GOOOOOOOOD.... please do download this even if it's 10mb...you will feel happy again
-
Oke, there's an CM-intro availible for download. Am i the first to notice? Since i don't see any comments yet Anyway, wait another 5 minutes so i can keep this nice dl-speed..thank you

I thought it was some strange German tactic? Maybe i should read more
-
Aah, well i think i might know yer prob then. Although i never tried it might be an accelerator prob. Are you using a second card as 3d-accelerator? I'm using an TNT2 Ultra (one size fits all . And i have no probs with both proggies. Maybe the programs use the 1st videocard they can find, and that isn't your 3d-card. Maybe that's it?
-
A drugatic? Well, that's something you don't see every day
-
Hypercam as mentioned does record CM (did it myself), but you MUST use "directx-mode". That way it records your active screen and not your desktop. But there's a better program, called "snag-it" or "snap-it". Recently i've been using it a lot at work and seems to work better (higher-res support...up to 800x600). In a few hours the weekend here is over, giving me the chance to find the correct name and url at work. Posting ASAP PanzerShark

Shipping the Game to Germany
PanzerShark replied to Jochen's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
I believe the "order-screen" shows the companies responsible for shipment. Ofcourse the game isn't finished yet, so it might take 3 months if you order now However, shipment from the US to Europe has taken 1.5 weeks for me at the max. I think when CM is ready you'll have it in less then 2 weeks. Ofcourse the time it takes is beyond BTS' hands and things like weather/customs and so on can delay the package a lot. Us europeans just need to keep our finges crossed then
