    eh yeah... thats kinda the point of the thread... im making one...

    @ sneaskie; no you misunderstand... i copied the text and saved then i changed the name of the sound in that file (so i changed it to use the 122mm sound) but nothing happened...

  2. im gonna try to check it out... but at the moment i havent been able to extract any of the sounds, so im just going off the filelist... but ill try to add enginesounds, explosions and possibly arty and air sounds for the next installment... but the first release will be just smallarms and cannons... thats enough work to start with (so far 270 soundfiles... not all unique of course, but since most weapons excluding rifles and cannons have between 7 and 13 versions its a handful.)

  3. in the first french campaign mission i had one enemy tank sitting outside the map area (so i couldnt order my troops there) with apparantly no ammo and a blown track...

    i notice that all my tanks have run out of AP ammo... i eventually charged everything i had towards it and it just slowly wiped out almost my entire infantry troop... and i ran out of HE shells in my tanks.

    it was a stupid situation, since i HAD won, but that last tank was just sitting there... in real life i could have strolled up there with one of my tank crews, opened their hatches and shot them with my bloody pistol since they ran out of mg ammo after a while...

  4. hi, just bought ToW kalypso version, patched it and then installed the .exe fix to make the thing work (horrible that i should even have to do that... kalypso bunged this up well good)

    anyway... so now it sais version 1.1 something at the top, ive got the 2 new campaigns and the new mission...

    but i cant find any kind of battle generator anywhere... so where do i go to find that?

  5. how easy is it to mod the sounds in this game?

    im just wondering cos ive done soundmods for all other BFC games ive bought, so i might as well do one for this when i buy it... but is it easy... hard... impossible?

    anybody know?

    Minor nitpick, but I wonder why PAK-35/36 AT guns appear in the Normandy missions as Panzer Lehr only had a few mounted on platoon leader Sdkfz 251/10s? Unless the ones with the Stielgranate 41 shaped charge are being used by Fallschirmjäger or other light troops? </font>

    and i wish i could afford a computer that could run it...

    but... im on welfare... so no go...

    any rich guys/gals out there that want to sponsor me with a new computer with this game?

    i could make you a soundmod ;o)
