Concerning question 3, are you using VT munitions with your artillery ? VT munitions are to explode before reaching the ground but sometimes don't, which could result in the crater/non-crater phenomena you describe. I might add that, if there were to be some new troops in a futur patch, I'd rather take some guys from the Legion than FFIs... Well, as a French I would of course appreciate to see the FFIs in the game, but I'm not sure it is CM's purpose to simulate non-regular troops. Neither to I think it would be worth the effort considering the lot of things that already are on "the list"... Yet, if you want some scenarios about the liberation of southern France, we alredy have one on our site Appui-Feu. It's about Aubagne, which was taken back by the 3e DIA on the 21st of August. Just upgraded to a Geforce 2 last friday... CM works perfectly with it, and game runs fast even when these Amis lay down smoke all along the map in VoT Yet, it is way too expensive in my opinion, so buy it only if you are to use it at its best. Otherwise I would suggest a Geforce 1, which should prove OK for CM. All in all if you decide to buy a Geforce ( 1 or 2 ), take a Winfast from Leadtek. Definitely more reliable than every other card out there... Hope that helps...
