  1. Unfortunately in your case Mouse I think it likely had more to do with the fact that not enough suitable applicants applied within the time limit to drive you to Coventry.
  2. Nice work Horse Ovaries. Good to see a veteran pooler attempting to make a SSN welcome with some pointed remarks, especially one of the minority persuation. Gotta keep up standards don't you know. We are Equal Opportunity Abusers here in the pool. I was just myself going to comment on Roxy Horrors locale. Everytime I start to read her posts I hear the faint sound of dueling banjos and get a whiff of magnolia. Mixed with the other noxious gas around here, it's enough to test my legendary lack of a gag reflex. Speaking of noxious gas and gag reflexes, where is the Justicator. Out selling someone on their next bad deal I imagine.
  3. Bard you syphilitic little porceline bastige. The only reason that Berli has you on his list first is that he wants to finish his light work before working into the meat of the order. Well, that or he compiled the list by working geographically from his starting location. Don't forget, lad, I am currently in the Great Satan and am not above coming over to Minnenippleous and camping at your place for a week if you try my patience further.
  4. Oh sure Elvis, right when Hiram was just about to bottom out with a sickening sklorp! and begin the long slow crawl back the mediocraty of his existence, you had to go and remind him that he is also an Eagles fan.
  5. Frankly I'm shocked, shocked and disgusted I say the you would place such a worthy and hated adversary such as myself at only #7 and behind some pathetic newby who doesn't even own the game yet as well as that prancing marionette Xia So be it however as there will be some serious rue-age on your part for the oversight. I'll take dreaded hun on Halloween 1942.
  6. Nobody Likes Mike, let me guess, you work for the Department of Kiwi Geography, right? This is getting good, however, as we could have a nice purse fight between their public servants and our public servants. Mace, use the sequined one, won’t you lad. Sorry buddy, I couldn’t let you do that without claiming that you are tramping on my bailiwick. Now, onto things that Australia has produced that are without par in the known multiverse. Being a good scientist, I’m not going to stoop to the use of mere anecdotal evidence, no sir. I’m going with the favoured client testimonial. As I log more hours in international bound aircraft than most of you shut-ins sleep in a year, I can provide the following list of most requested items from Australia when I am travelling to the Great Satan, middle east or some other far flung hell hole: Tim Tams Picnic Bars Sepoderm (which is ideal for washing sepos) Lux (usually the yellow but sometimes the white) Items from Australian Geographic Tapes of original ABC shows International Roast (if you have to drink instant, ours seems to be preferred) 6 packs of REAL Australian beer like Boags, Cascade, Carlton Draft, etc, which are not typically allowed for export lest we run out.
  7. Now that's just a slanderous lie. I happen to know that Mace does nice things daily. Like posting to the bbs daily during work hours when he could be out afflicting an unsuspecting public with additional public service bureaucracy. Damn him for holding the sneak preview while I am away, however.
  8. You know, if He-who-I-do-not-believe-in keeps posting here so much, won't that reduce the amount of time that he will have to produce eastern front scenarios for me personally? But perhaps his German/Japanese heritage has allowed him to perfect something like a few more hours in the day to play with than we mere mortals.
  9. For shame, Patch. Didn't you mommy ever teach you not to make fun of the retarded?
  10. And I just read the whole thing because if both the Bard and Dorosh are posting in the same thread, there's bound to be a train wreck worth watching. Roxy, I would suggest to any newcomer that you find a person who has a pretty low member number and play a few games against them if you enjoy the discourse you have while you PBEM. Being good at strategy games is one thing, but CM will be better than any computer strategy game you have ever played. It also rewards (for the most part) what works in real life and punishes what does not. So, while you need not be a history buff to do well, researching real military tactis will help. Or, just keep playing shut-ins like Dorosh until that kicking a bound puppy feeling wears off and you are ready to take on a Cesspooler. In there, we will force you to take on the lowest of the low as any other scum sucking newbie, since we are equal opportunity abusers.
  11. Good on ya Mick, get us a turn when you can and keep your chin up. Unfortunately, although I am the cancer, I really don't know much about me so I can't help you there.
  12. You wouldn't have so much work on Lars if you would stop using the .45 to fish through the glass bottom boats you prefer.
  13. Gee, can't wait until Sept 20 so I can whup some more Berli, Mace and He-Who-I-Do-Not-Believe-In Arse as well. But for now, can I quit hearing about it. That is all for now, busy trying to find some projects here in the Great Satan, so those of you who I am at hazard with are free to spread your lies.
  14. 18 July 02 Mr. J Geier Old Firm Goatburg, Squareheadland Re: Request for Turn Size Reduction Dear Johan - We have done our best to reduce the turn size in our recent match through the wanton wasting of an entire platoon with the help of the rat bastard scenario designer (Berli) and are currently proceeding with the removal of the bits of the second. We hope and assume that the Old Firm will also be taking steps with some of your odiferous units do acheive the same. Regards, Cmdr Army of Scaliness Group South PS: Congratulations on the addition of your new associate. We look forward to meeting him once he has had his conscience removal therapy. 15. Some people just don't "get it" do they? Take your long ass name back to post one of any MBT, read, then read again, then have a bit of a lie down to sort it all out, then come back and challenge one AND ONLY ONE SSN of your obvious level and lack of understanding and we will see how you go. Now, on to more weightier matters. OGSF: A new scenario is on its way to your skirt wearing pseudo-celtic nancy man domicile. Setup the allies and send the turn. No choices for you as I have decided I get to be the rottweilers with the fog on my side this time, and you get to take your spin in the bucket. Lars: I have sent Moriarty my selections and will begin overrunning your pathetically defended positions immediately upon receiving the first turn from same. Sorry Noba but I am still working my way through the longer standing members and found your proposition to be no proposition at all. Now had you agreed to do anything other than sit there with the sheep skin on and make dew eyes at Mace we might have been in business. [ July 18, 2002, 12:23 AM: Message edited by: Goanna ]
  16. OOoooGAH OOoooGAH OOoooGAH CESSPOOL CONTAINMENT LEAK IN MAIN BOARD! CESSPOOL CONTAINMENT LEAK IN MAIN BOARD! Madmatt please fix or do somefink! No really, he started it. Ban him I say, ban him to Coventry!
  17. Have frequent flyer points, will travel. But what do you mean about the Sydney people getting away with it? Is there a preview around here I am missing?
  18. Or run like hell. Hurry Doug before you get some on you. Lars your acceptance is noted. I prefer a scenario from the Scenario Depot top 20 or a third party setup quick battle, and will take the Allies. Tell me your preference and # of points and type of battle and I will either get a scenario, or arrange the third party and map for purchases. [ July 15, 2002, 06:59 PM: Message edited by: Goanna ]
  19. Joe, grow a brain. Everyone knows that the first Cesspool tourney will be and invitational. Hell, I already have the pairings worked out and the tee-shirt designed.
  20. With the arrival of the delivery date of CMBB now definitely set, I think it is time for each of us to sit back and contemplate the likelihood of our finishing each and every one of our current games in a timely fashion so as to coincide with the release date as well as reflect on the hate that burns inside of us for those we loathe. I have just completed this contemplation exercise and find that I have currently underway the following ongoing desecration of opponents: bauhaus, Seanachai, Hiram and the Old Firm. This simply will not do. The Army of Scaliness, Group South, hopes to add 2 to 5 suitable victims of our wrath to the list in the colours of D-Day prior to moving east for further atrocity. We therefore state our designs on the territory of the following: Lars Because I need some new blood. Hopefully mostly yours. Also selected due to the fact that you are a Minnesotan, a gun toting crazy and known to do both while regularly inebriated. OGSF Because if I am going to be insulted, I might as well have to work hard to receive it. Plus, he is populating my continental divide and we need to clear out the humans down that end to make room for more griz and grey wolves. Mostly griz though, because they go for that haggis like a rat up a drain pipe. Others will be considered, with references and a suitable proposition. Knights that I could set a clock by preferred. SSN need not apply. You have 24 hours before the shells start falling. Cmdr ASGS out.
  21. That's bold talk from a one-eyed fat man. I have stiffer chunks in my scat than Pusswad Armee is likely to demonstrate in its resolve to do anything other than become this month's poster child for serial posting SSN.
  22. I can neither confirm nor deny that I second that request, Joe. Stuka's that is, as I think Poophead Kant should also be sent to Coventry. [ July 11, 2002, 11:02 PM: Message edited by: Goanna ]
  23. Quite so. They also say that geniuses choose green. But in truth, the guy at the rental shop picked it out for me, and Berli was resonsible for the titles. And Moriarty, you should know by now that chaos doesn't need to have a sponsor. Just grab your popcorn and a fizzy drink and enjoy the show. I, for one, wouldn't want to be the member of any house that would accept me.
  24. I'll take the Old Firm in ten and spot Hiram 20 points. Not that the Army of Scaliness Group South has any personal experience, mind you as we have never actually completed a match with either. The current Marlow piece of ****e we are playing does show some promise of completion, however, given that the game has no resemblance to the briefing and his crack troops were placed in my green setup zones. Interesting, but I can't say I'm sold on the whole stream of consciousness scenario design method.
