  1. Alllllllrighty then.... Thanks for the responses. I didn't know that the Kubels could tow anything. Interesting. Still, though, I probably won't be buying any as a harsh glance from the allies seems to be enough to kill one of them. ------------------ CrapGame out
  2. I can't say that I've had any luck using them as scout vehicles. They seem to get killed as soon as the enemy starts throwing rocks at them. ------------------ CrapGame out
  3. Sniper Where did you find one that cheap? - Circuit City? Or on the net? I'd like to get one myself. ------------------ CrapGame out
  4. Doug, Didn't think of that one. But mine seem to die as soon as someone throws a spitball at it, so I wouldn't want to risk a valuable FO in that manner. ------------------ CrapGame out
  5. Can someone please explain to me the value of having a Kubelwagon? It doesn't appear to have any weapons, it has no armor, can't carry very much, and sure as hell doesn't have Col. Klink in it. So...What is the use of having it? I can't seem to find any use in it, other than carrying a shreck team in a high speed, Mad Max dash to a location... ------------------ CrapGame out
  6. Havermeyer, Check www.achtungpanzer.com ------------------ CrapGame out
  7. They are in the game for certain forces (I think the Brit Airborne, although there may be others). I'm sure others on this forum can back me up with the details here. ------------------ CrapGame out
  8. Just voted. Now over 14%. ------------------ CrapGame out
  9. That wasn't Steve. His description says Moderator. It's an imposter. ------------------ CrapGame out
  10. Thanks. I laughed so hard, cheerios and milk came out my nose. ------------------ CrapGame out
  11. Ghost - I was wondering the same thing. I have only played two of the scenarios that came with the CD, as I want to try and save them for double blind pbems. So, I take it by your post that you were on the receiving end of a P-47 Fionn-Buster? ------------------ CrapGame out
  12. Wasting my time reading sophomoric drivel in this thread. ------------------ CrapGame out
  13. The Pionere squads are engineers, but I can't help you with the Sturmgruppe one. ------------------ CrapGame out
  14. (Emeril Lagasse voice on) Let's kick it up a notch - BAMMMMM! add more points! Sounds good ------------------ CrapGame out
  15. Ghost, I thought I saw something in the manual about it when I was skimming it, but didn't recall seeing exact percentages. Are they in there? Just curious because I was trying to figure out how much of the extra % boost to give a "probing" force the same point as an "assault" force by using the general force modifier (eg +25%, +50%, etc.) Thanx ------------------ CrapGame out
  16. I have downloaded it, yet haven't played it. I see you say the British may be a bit weak. Should I be the Brits first to make it harder? Or is it designed to be the Germs first? Looking forward to playing in the AM ------------------ CrapGame out
  17. Capt., You're kidding, right????? I'm beginning to believe the posts about your postman being part of a conspiracy or something like that. Well, hope you get it tomorrow. It must suck more than anything to hear everyone talk about it. My sympathies. ------------------ CrapGame out
  18. Can anyone tell me the bonus purchase points that are given to the attacking sides in the DIY scenarios? I have played numerous quick battles and I can't figure this out. Do they not automatically get any bonus points? Or do I have to indicate the bonus points separately? Thanks ------------------ CrapGame out
  19. Mike, You should be able to see if Windows has done that by going into the Windows explorer, finding the files, right clicking on them, and then click properties. This will have their full names with all their extensions. ------------------ CrapGame out
  20. The patch is for the final version only. The CD is required for play. ------------------ CrapGame out
  21. Sniperscope, Glad to hear the news. It is well worth the wait (preaching to choir here, I know). I'd like your opinion on strategies for a couple of the scenarios included with the CD, so give me a shout when you're up & running. ------------------ CrapGame out
  22. O'G - Moon's scenarios work as they are. I think it probably has something to do with you renaming them. The game might compare the name of the file with something internal to the file that the user can't see. Try redownloading them and just move them to the scenario folder. All zipped files must be unzipped, as the program won't recognize the zipped ones. ------------------ CrapGame out
  23. I created a quick battle last night. I was Germans, 1000 pts, armored forces for both sides, allied probing attack, medium map, small hills, farmland, in Feb 45. Let the computer pick everything. It gave me 3 panthers, 1 tiger, 2 StuG42, 1 halftrack and a quad 20mm flak gun. Ended up facing 6 m4A3W+ shermans, a chaffee, and a mess of infantry. Final score Germans 100, Allies 0, Total German Victory turn 14. I wanted to know how much of a point bonus is given in a probe versus an attack? But anyway, the Computer does pick some of the cats. ------------------ CrapGame out
  24. Steve, If you're as busy as you say in your posts, finding this game will prove to be your worst nightmare. Mark my words. It's really F@#!king addictive. ------------------ CrapGame out
  25. Killmore, You're saying you let the computer pick all the vehicles, right? ------------------ CrapGame out
