  1. And this happens in all battles and situations, or just some of the time? Madmatt
  2. We are testing a fix to this right now in the upcoming v1.05 patch. Madmatt
  3. I assume your running with v1.04 correct? What about your version of the ATI drivers? Are you using the Catalyst 7.10's? If not, try those out and see if the accuracy isn't improved. Madmatt

  5. Greetings everyone! Today I am happy to announce a new patch for our award winning strategy WWII game, Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg. The main feature of this patch is the addition of an all new Global World War 2 Campaign and Map. The v1.08 Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg Patch is "all-inclusive" and contains all of the fixes, changes and improvements from earlier patches and updates. This patch can be applied to any previous Battlefront.com English Language version of the game. Patches for other versions will be released separately. This patch is NOT for the Weapons and Warfare Expansion. WORLD WAR! For the first time, Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg now contains an epic sized, World War 2 campaign featuring not just the European Theatre but the whole of Asia Pacific, complete North and South American continents, all of Africa and a greatly expanded Eastern Europe and Indian sub-continent! As part of this v1.08 update to the game, we are including this awesome 1939-46 WW2 Global Conflict Campaign, designed by David Stoeckl (and modified by Hubert Cater) completely for free. Play Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg like never before, on a truly global scale. This new Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg campaign covers World War 2 from a complete global perspective. Choose to play for world domination as the Axis or select the Allies in a desperate effort to contain Axis expansion and aggression. The 1939-46 WW2 Global Conflict gives you complete control of over 40 different countries including Japan, Italy and Germany on the Axis side and the UK, US and USSR for the Allies. This new mega-campaign features over 30 different weather zones including the Indian Subcontinent and the Java Sea as well as detailed Orders of Battle for all countries including China, Thailand, and the East and West Commonwealth including Australia and New Zealand. The campaign offers ultimate flexibility including the opportunity for Japan to sneak attack the US Navy at Pearl Harbor or even to rewrite the Imperial Japanese Navy debacle at Midway. Invade China, Australia, even the Western United States! While originally envisioned for multiplayer battles, this new Global Conflict campaign can be played in either solo or multiplayer modes. Featured special events for this new campaign include: * Saboteurs from German submarines interrupting US Oil supply in the Gulf of Mexico * Fights between Kuo Min Tang and Communists that weaken China during the Japanese campaign in Manchuria * MI6 Special Forces operations that disrupt Japanese supply in the Pacific * Revolts in French Indo-China that can disrupt Japanese operations Will the Axis succeed in their global efforts to secure a new world order or will the Allies ultimately prevail? The fate of the planet is up to you as you fight in this epic and global World War! This new campaign is only for Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and does not require the newly released Weapons and Warfare Expansion to play! 7. October 24th, 2007 Weapons and Warfare Expansion released At midnight tonight (E.S.T.) the Strategic Command 2 Weapons and Warfare Expansion was officially released and made available for download. Those that have Pre-Ordered either the Weapons and Warfare Expansion or the Strategic Command 2 Bundle got an early start as the downloads for those orders have were activated earlier in the day. We plan to begin shipping out the CD's for the Weapons and Warfare Expansion and the Bundle Pack within the next two weeks. Order the Weapons and Warfare Expansion Order the Strategic Command 2 Bundle Pack Madmatt
  8. Sounds like your not properly logging in to the store system. I answered your earlier post with what to try. Madmatt
  9. Not sure why your having trouble but the link sent to you in email should work and thats the way to get the file. What occurs when you click the link in email? Your login name is your email address (its a seperate system from the forum) and if you don't have your password use the link on the side of the store page to have the system resend it to you. Madmatt
  10. Subject of this message pretty well sums up the issue. If you are trying to license the Pre-Order version of Weapons and Warfare, just type in your 32 digit License Code when asked for the Order ID. That was a typo which I will be fixing later tonight, but enough people have emailed me about it that I wanted to post this now. Madmatt
  11. Also, and this is extremely important, right now, the Weapons and Warfare Expansion ONLY works with the Battlefront.com ENGLISH version of Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg. It does NOT work with the German release at this time. This is mentioned on the pre-order page, but we already had one customer email us about this. Madmatt
  12. Each game runs seperate so it doesnt matter what version SC2 you have installed. The key is to make sure its (Sc2) is already licensed before you try and run WaW. For those that are eagle eyed...you might notice that if you downloaded and install the bundle, SC2 is now v1.08! Expect more info on this detail later this week. 13. By the way guys (and I am going to fix this later tonight!) but when you go to install and license Weapons and Warfare, the license panel might ask for the "Order ID", what it wants there is the elicense code (the one with all the numbers and letters about 32 characters long) . As I said, I am going to get that fixed but you early downloaders will probably see it with that wording instead of it saying "License Key". Madmatt
  14. Use the Returning customers: Forgot your password? link on the stores main page http://www.battlefront-store.com:8080 Your username is your email address. Madmatt
  15. Anyone that has pre-ordered will be notified (or should have already, check your Spam filters!!!) and will get an automated email indicating that they can now download the game. The game is still listed as Pre-Order though (with the special pre-order price) until around midnight, at which time it will switch over to release status. Important info for logging back into the store. Your email address IS your Username. If you no longer have or have forgotten your store password, use the "returning customers, forgot your password" link on the stores main page. Your username and email will both be the same thing (your email address). Lastly, when you go to license the game itself, when it asks for ORDER ID, it wants the LICENSE CODE. 16. The capability of the TC's dual stage hatch on the M1 (allowing it to be half open yet still providing some top cover) was something that we wanted to code, but it just proved too tricky to do properly. On M1A1's the TC can fire the M2 .50 cal from inside (remotely) but that functionality was removed in the M1A2 because they needed the space taken up by the remote mechanism for other electronic jiggery-pokery. This is modeled in game. Madmatt
  17. The upcoming v1.05 patch should have this TCP problem (and possibly others) resolved. Madmatt
  18. This is listed specifically in the Troubleshooting Guide. Here is what you need to do: Problem with Paradox CD version and following message: "A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (7001)" Symptoms - You get this message when you try and run the game. Background - This error indicates a incompatability between your system and the SecuROM protection system utilized by Paradox on their CD's. Sony (the makers of SecuROM) is aware of the issue and apparently has a fix. People Affected - Some people that have the Paradox version of the game on CD. Solution - Please email support@securom.com , tell them the game and error you are getting and they should reply back with the steps to take to fix this issue.
  19. The first poster I worked with privately in email, but his problem seems to be not just be isolated to CMSF. As to the second post, we will be rolling out some TCP fixes in the upcoming v1.05 which should fix that issue. Madmatt
  20. At some point, yes, we will be offering those two items for sale seperately. I don't know for sure when, but that was always the plan to do in the future. Madmatt
  21. Hi Leon, I know that Charles said that the TCP issue from v1.04 was more involved than simply not being able to connect and was still looking deeper into the root cause. That *could* mean that some of the other MP issues you have been seeing will also improve as well. I can't say for sure though at the moment because I simply haven't done much of the MP testing yet with v1.05 but I will make a point of looking into it when I can. Madmatt
  22. For those that are seeing "blurry text" Please post your system specs, with video card make, model and driver revision and also post both the ingame graphics settings (resolution, and texture and model quality) as well your driver settings (level of AA and AF). I know that one feature of v1.05 is a fix for some issues with anti-aliasing that Charles noticed so that *might* fix it, but I dont think any of us (or any of the testers) ever encountered the exact issue that you guys have seen so thats why i need your info so we can try and replicate the problem, and then test to see if the other fix, fixes this as well. Thanks! Madmatt
  23. Just to clarify, you began the scenario with v1.04 or was it begun with an earlier game version? Madmatt
  24. If its a consistent amount of time between stutters my guess is that you have something running in the background (perhaps your email or an IM program) which is taking up CPU cycles on a fixed schedule, which would cause the jumps you see. As suggested above, read over some of those tweak guides (but be careful) and try and make sure that only CMSF is running when you play to see if the problem goes away. Madmatt
