Congratulations on the new addition to the Wilder Clan. I still find it hard to believe that a 29 year old can great grand children, but what do I know.

I have the same problem. I am using a Soundblaster Live! Value card. Let me know if you find a solution. Clean installs don't seem to fix it for me, and I have zero sound mods installed. Thanks.

I have heard it also after I used a MOD for the sounds. When I revert to the WAV files from the CD the sound goes away. I always thought it was a duck quacking!

Take a look at this thread. There is a utility that you can get that will play all the movie files back to back. I believe they all have to be in the same directory and there is a pause between files while they load. I have also had issues with files I receive from people who are using a MAC. While I have heard that it is not supposed to make a difference, it does make a difference for me. I test quite a few scenarios and one of the folks that I test for runs a MAC. When I get his files if they are not zipped I can't load them. I am on a PC. My $0.02

Sounds like an issue with your e-mail service. The best way to overcome this is to ZIP your turns that way your e-mail program won't try to read the .txt file.

No I do not believe that you can modify that sort of stuff. The Desert Mod is a cosmetic mod only, meaning the engine behind the game still models the same way only the pictures look different.
