  1. I have also posted this information in the CMBB Forum since that is where it started. I will be previewing CMAK in Southern California this weekend (November 8th), in Corona California. The preview will start at 10 a.m. and end around 4 or 5 p.m. I will have two digital LCD projectors showing CMAK on the wall in all its glory. If you're interested in attending, please post a reply and or e-mail me so that I can get you directions. Thanks!
  2. OK the time has come for the preview. I am planning to show CMAK this weekend - November 8th. Those of you who are interested, please post a reply and or e-mail me for directions to my home. The preview will be in Corona, CA and it will start at 10 a.m. and end around 4 or 5 p.m. I will have two digital projectors so we can see CMAK on the big screen - so to speak. Talk to you all soon!
  3. I am back and am working with my boss (read wife) on a date that will be acceptable to have a bunch of grungy CMers over. Couple that with the fires and everything else going and it is bound to be an exciting time in Southern California. More to follow soon! Thanks, Bill
  4. Bad news, I have to travel to Italy this weekend for work. This will postpone the sneak peak until my return. I apologize, but there is nothing I can do. I will notify all who e-mailed when I am able to get a date firmed up. Bill [ October 15, 2003, 11:41 AM: Message edited by: ACTOR ]
  5. Ok gents time to get this ball rolling. I need a list of folks that know they would like to attend, so please send me an e-mail letting me know that you would like to attend and how many people you plan to bring. I will arrange a date as soon as I know how many people to expect. Thanks, Bill
  6. Gentlemen, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I am currently in Hawaii on a much needed vacation. I will make arrangements for a date soon after my return. Also, to answer a couple of questions: No I am not an actor. That call sign just stuck from when I was in school. Yes, Daisy will be there! (And so will Kozmo, my cat that believes he is a small dog!) Mace - As much as I love you man, I can't afford the air fare after paying for this vacation. There ain't nothin cheap, but the sunshine, in Maui! Aloha! Bill

  9. Franko, I will be hosting an event, if enough takers present themselves, in Southern California and I had one person from the Sacramento area drive down for my last get together. 8-) [ October 03, 2003, 01:19 AM: Message edited by: ACTOR ]

  11. OK as I did for CMBB, so I will be doing for CMAK. Who is in the Southern California area that would be interested in coming over for a wee bit of a sneak peak? I live in Corona, which is near Riverside which is about 50 miles East of Los Angeles. Let me know, so I will know whether we want do this. Thanks, Bill
  12. Enjoy...these are excellent scenarios....even if I am biased! LOL
  13. Mrspkr, It was more the photo in my opinion. The wall wasn't perfect for the job, a screen would have been better, but the colors were pretty good in my opinion. Bill
  14. Stoffel - You better be careful! "whats bigger than 42"?? the screen or the guy next to it sorry couldnt resist" If not, I will come over and sit on you...then you can tell everyone which is bigger!
  15. Well I was one of the folks who hosted the Beta of BB and had the projector. I will tell you, it was AWESOME! I haven't had the opportunity to play it "on the wall" since then, but one day....maybe when CMAK comes out, I will drag the projector home again.
  16. I have noticed a slow down in the past couple of days. I assumed it was something on my end until I tried it at work too. Not a huge difference, but I am noticing a "pause" for lack of a better term. (I have AT&T - soon to be Comcast - Cable as my connection)
  17. Just got my new Gateway 700XL two days ago. It is very nice, and also my third Gateway. Overall the performance is really good and the ATI 9700 card rocks. Bill
  18. I plan to beg this evening so that my wife might grant me the opportunity to attend this little get together. We'll see what she says....Bill + Alcohol + CMBB = Potential Trouble!
  19. Sledge (Bob), Do you have Paypal? You could always buy CMBB from someone who purchases it from Battlefront using their, non AMEX card . Or maybe a personal check to someone willing to buy a copy to sell to you. Or...I am sure there are a few other ways to skin this cat. Edited to note that Bimmer beat me to the punch! (Damn!) 20. Karch, How did you take those shots? I gotta know....they are very cool! Thanks, Bill
  21. Yes, evil has spawned a new name in scenario design....and the evilness shall be known as WWB! Your wicked evil, but still a distant second to RUNE
  22. Remember with Mace around it really was diffucult to get much done. All his talk about sheep and the photos....my god the photos (Shudder).
  23. Well it's all over, including the shouting! I would like to thank all of you that came over for being such good guests and for your participation in the beta testing process. Now, if you would, please post your thoughts on what you saw. Edited - I wanted everyone to get a peak at what we were looking at. Also, here is a roll call of the folks that I had in attendance. (If I missed you, let me know) Erwin Gillfish John Kettler AGCent ASL Veteran Rautaug Thumpre Pvt Ryan Captain Foobar MarkEzra Thanks, Bill "Actor" [ July 21, 2002, 01:28 PM: Message edited by: ACTOR ]
