  1. After lots of hard work (an distractions) by @Ithikial_AU, @Imperial Grunt and the dedicated testers I am pleased to announce that the Dutch campaign "Back on Tracks" is now available for download! Here is s direct link to the download: CMSF2 Campaigns We hope that everyone enjoys it!
  2. @wadepm That sounds like the game is running on the Intel integrated card. Do you know if your laptop also has a dedicated card (like a GeForce card or somefink) in addition to the integrated card? If you do, use the video cards software suite and set it to run on high performance graphics and the blurry text will go away.
  3. Thanks. I'll check out the status of the bug report. The last coupla/few months have had my testing eyes (and brain) pretty focused on R2V. As a peek behind the curtain, it isn't unusual to post a report and then lose track of it's status unless 1 of 2 things happen...1) I'm asked a follow up question. 2) a new beta patch is available to be tested and you review posted bugs to see if the patch took care of them.
  4. There have been long threads about this and, unless something new has come up since I last saw anything, there is nothing duplicatable and the issue has been considered fixed. Did I miss something?
  5. That indicates that something in missing from the installation. If you open a Help Desk ticket with a screenshot of the contents of your Data folder I'll be able to quickly tell what is missing.
  6. This is the first module that I playtested every battle before release. It was breathtaking to see the intricate work these guys put in and singling out a favorite would be impossible and unfair. I will note a couple though (not calling them favorites.....Not that I liked them the best or anything but as examples of some of the content. Flames in the Mist was unlike any other CM battle that I ever played. People may correct me and remind of something similar and, if they're right, I have no memory of the other battles. It was a totally different type of battle. Cassili Road, this battle is an obvious example of what all of the battles have. Extremely well thought out and detailed AI plans. I think I played it 5 times. And each time I went into it thinking "ok, I know what to do in this thing" and each time I was surprised. Not that the AI did some gamey thing that was different but that the AI acted in a way that I didn't expect or account for...and if I hadn't been trying to be gamey I should have accounted for. All the battles have this level of refinement but this one, in my opinion, can demonstrate it the best. Go ahead..play it twice...or 3 times...You'll see what I mean.
  7. It never ceases to amaze me the breath of knowledge that our players have. We have guys testing that seem like savants or somefink with this kind of stuff. Truly impressive. Thanks, Frenchy56 (and everyone who has pointed these kinds of things out).
  8. Use your 4.0 Upgrade link. That gives you the option of just the Upgrade or a full installer. Use the full installer. It includes the 2.10 patch.
  9. Use the Activate New Products utility on the desktop and enter your Rome to Victory key
  10. For Rome to Victory it defaults to have a shortcut on the desktop. If it's not there it will also be in the game's main directory.
  11. I moved it like I would move any other vehicle. When I would target (or the TacAI would target on it's own) the vehicle turns to fire without me doing anything. In a different battle that had a similar type vehicle that I wanted to set up so that the gun was already facing the direction I wanted it to shoot, I moved the vehicle where I wanted it and then changed the the facing using the Face command to the opposite direction so that the gun was pointed where I wanted it.
  12. The Elephant to Brummbär switch was because the Elephant required Gustav Line. Nothing in the Rome to Victory module requires owning Gustav Line.
  13. That was among my favorite new scenarios. I felt like it was very different than any scenario I'd ever played before.
  14. Your comment: Yeah...it was a bear. Your question: These screenshots may be helpful. There are 81 new QB maps in the module. These are them.
  15. I just double checked...one has Windows in the title and the other Mac. Odd that you're not seeing that. I'll dig deeper.
  16. OK. Your splash screen looks like you're installed ok. We can try 1 of 2 things....either disable your firewall and anti-virus software and redownload and install the 2.10 patch. Or, open a Help Desk ticket and I'll use a different method to get you the files.
  17. IT sounds like @mjkerner is sorted out but @mike_in_texas can you look in your Game Files folder and then the Scenarios folder and see if the Rome to Victory battles are there? The file names will all begin with R2V.
  18. Awesome!!! Dave was part of my Mac posse. Thanks @Ultradave for jumping in!
  19. Since the introduction of the all-in-one full game installers for all of the Combat Mission games purchases of modules (or Packs) no longer come with downloads. If you have the most up to date patched version of your game then you already have the module (or Pack) installed. Along with Rome to Victory's release is a v2.10 "patch". This patch contains all of the Rome to Victory content. All full game installers are also v2.10 and contain the Rome to Victory content. Make sure that you have the 2.10 game version installed (below is a direct link to the patch) and then use the Activate New Products utility on your desktop and enter your Rome to Victory key to "unlock" the content, https://battlefront.sharefile.com/share/view/s82e4aff83484678a
  20. Sounds like you need to open a Help Desk ticket....and I need to get some of my Mac posse involved.
  21. A few things will tel you that you're good to go. If you also have the Gustav Line module you will see 2 large icons on the bottom of the splash plage. In the bottom right of the screen it will read v2.10. If you go to play a stand alone battle, all of the Rome to Victory battle's names start with R2V and should not be grayed out.
  22. Ok, I will definitely check with HQ. I am unaware of any changes but I'll ask.
  23. The game can be installed anywhere but the Game Files folders MUST be in the Documents folder and that should be the C drive only. If they've always been on your D drive something odd may have happened with your old installation. It sounds like the easiest thing to do is add the Game Files stuff that on your D drive to the R2V stuff on the C drive. Patch of least resistance and all.
  24. I'm assuming that wasn't the case before.....Take a look in your Scenario and Campaign folders and see what's in there.
