Who in turn was a squire in darkness?

No, I was a squire to no-one. Seanachai was the first to bid me 'welcome' in the pool and eventually did try to sponsor me, but I have this natural fear of hard work and chose not to accept his offer. Besides, I reserved grovelling and snivelling for Kitty alone. Mace

So why are they senior again, it would be from the time they were knighted, wouldn't it? Of course, if someone was to slip me a few dollars I might shutup. 3. bugger...one of those days! Well, what are you looking at? I make the occassional mistake as well! *humph* [ 09-08-2001: Message edited by: Mace ]
 4.
quote:
Originally posted by Leeo: Still, 1,658 posts to the thread, in the end just to call a Nearly-newbie such as myself a loser.

Well, it is nice to achieve a life-goal, regardless of how miniscule it is! As for the annointment of Joe Shaw? I say Aye, but best to leave the actual annointing to a trained professional..Bauhaus? Mace [ 09-08-2001: Message edited by: Mace ]
 5.
quote:
Originally posted by Leeo: How is it that y’all, whom I try and despise with a perfect loathing, have come to be amongst my most treasured contacts?

I dunno. Is it because you're a loser? Mace
 6.
quote:
Originally posted by Speedy: Hey am I the only knight here with a fan page???

So you're a printing business huh? I'm a car wash franchise; Lorak is something german; Seanachai's under construction; Bauhaus is in stealth mode; Stuka & Berli can't be found; Mensch is forbidden; Elvis, well that's obvious, Goanna features, yep you've guessed it; and Joe Shaw asks me to simply type what I'm looking for. As for the rest of you, just because I couldn't be bothered to look you up on the web doesn't mean I hate and despise you any less. Mace [ 09-07-2001: Message edited by: Mace ]
 7. Internal armour spalling; hit in a weakpoint (eg the vision slot on the RHS); slope of the armour plate in relation to the incoming round; round type - all these could result in perfectly good tank becoming a wreck. Mace

 9.
quote:
Originally posted by Agua Perdido: Further updates on other actions as soon as I get off my lazy ass (down, Mace!) and send some turns.

I'd just like to clarify something here. I deal with Fuana, Bauhaus of course Humans. We belong to different unions (get it - unions. Oh never mind!) Btw, there is a vacancy for flora, if anyone here finds themselves aroused by trees, potplants, grass etc we may have a vacancy for you. Mace [ 09-07-2001: Message edited by: Mace ]

 11.
quote:
Originally posted by Germanboy: Something about Australia winning the war

I knew that. But we did it in such a way it looked like the industrial might of the Americans and Russians were the key factors in the Allied victory. That's how humble we Aussie's are. Mace
 12.
quote:
Originally posted by Lars: I’ve been upped to Squire, please increase your level of scorn accordingly. Thanks for your support.

No one likes a taddle-tale, but since you're a [correction]Squire[/correction] you're probably well used to being unliked (and scorned, and despised, etc etc etc) anyhow. Mace
 13.
quote:
Originally posted by Lars: In other matters, Sire, have you noticed that two members of the Australian Government are now openly posting in the General Forum. There may be something to this conspiracy business, and it appears to be nearing its fulfillment. They are getting bolder. We need you back on the case, Sire.

No one likes a taddle-tale, but since you're a serf you're probably well used to being unliked (and scorned, and despised, etc etc etc) anyhow. 14.
quote:
Originally posted by Joe Shaw: (really Lorak, as long as the goat was consenting, who cares ... what's that ... oh ... well I guess the beard threw me. I just ASSUMED that being on all fours, with the collar, horns and beard, it added up to ... but please offer my apologies to ... uh ... hmmm.)

Excuse me!!!! You are encroaching into my territory here, and I must ask you to cease and desist this instant! Mace (holder of the key to the royal barn, and keeper of the royal livestock)

 17.
quote:
Originally posted by Seanachai: I know these Math Word Problems are difficult even for Southern Californians, who have the advantage of wearing sandals and who often work these difficult equations out in the bathroom, which allows them to reach twenty-one in their counting.

That would be males wouldn't it? Females would be limited to counting to twenty if they counted their extremities (or would that be 22)?!! I need to dwell on this a bit more. Mace
 18. Right....I'm going to put you on my Christmas card list...so I can take you off!!!! *records Stuka's name on list, then crosses it off with gusto* That'll teach ya, ya young upstart! Mace [ 09-05-2001: Message edited by: Mace ]
 19. Mine's bigger than most of you! Don't you with the smaller one's feel somewhat inadequate? Mace
 20.
quote:
Originally posted by Stuka: *Yawn* Sometimes countless victories after countless victories can get so... monotonous.

My two previous victories against the forces of Stuka were achieved with this in mind. Afterall, where would we be if we didn't look after one another? Mace
 21. Don't know what you're smoking, but whatever it is you have to share it with the wider Battlefront community! Mace [ 09-04-2001: Message edited by: Mace ]
 22. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr smarty-pants Stuka comes in and mouths off about his great victory, and how brilliant he was, and how he'd like to thank his wife for the inspiration. Mace
 23.
quote:
Originally posted by Bad Dog: Good concept, but don't think it'll work. Time limit on PBEM can easily be overcome by some cheap tricks - load the game 10 times, then you have more time to watch the movie?

Hit the nail right on the head! What's to stop a gamey, cheating, SOB opponent (eg me) from opening the PBEM file, running it and taking some notes, closing it, then opening it again, taking some more notes, and so on? Makes a time limit for PBEM games a bit pointless. Mace
