Scipio
I have created a full set of green/yellow weapon icons. Marines included. You find'em at http://www.cmmods.com!
Mord
REALLY nice. I love it! Truly. I Left some feedback on COMMODs. Funny, how these smaller (compared to vehicles and terrain and the like) graphic mods can really add depth to the game. I am very impressed! It helps give an organic, more military feel to the UI board if that makes sense. I realy like the toned down colors too. A+! Peter Panzer
Scipio: I absolutely love these types of practical, measured and well executed mods! Furthermore, I am a stout believer that it is the "little things" that ultimately make the game. This work definitely brings a new layer of appeal to the UI. Very well done sir. Have you considered redesigning the floating unit icons? If not, you certainly should. Mord: The same goes for you subdued unit base mod - simple and effective. Much appreciated.

theFightingSeabee
Great mod! Cmmods is blowing up right now! There's more mods and scenarios than I can deal with!
stikkypixie
Actually I have used it more now, and I think it would be better if you made the background green a bit darker. My poor eyes are having a hard time telling the lightly wounded and the fit soldiers apart.
Scipio
Thank for the good critics folks! Stikkypixie, I see what you mean, but I prefer a different approach: the reinvention of the CMx1 red cross: You can DL the additional 'Red Cross'-set update from my site http://www.unitedwargamers.net. Look in the CM-forum. The Redcross-set is now included in the full version, too!
Meach
Fantastic. I will get the red cross addition too!

Mord
The same goes for you subdued unit base mod - simple and effective. Much appreciated. Thanks very much...appreciate the kind words...If you haven't already, you might wanna give Missinginreality's rings mod a try that one is really nice too. Peter Panzer
Mord: Thanks for the tip - I gave it a go. I think I prefer the muted color scheme you and Scipio are currently working with. Any takers on modding the unit icons? I would love to see what you guys could pull off. Something low-key, representative and precise like Scipio's UI Weapon Mod would be dandy.

Mikkey
I got a noob question. How do i install it or in general how do i install mods ?you must create folder Z in your CMSF/Data folder and copy mods in this folder. For more informations about installing mods you can read new 1.10 manual (page 150-153)
Meach
I cannot get the red cross addition to work. Usually I am ok with mods but i am not sure which file to put into the Z folder. I put them both i get the old icons. Maybe I just need to go lie down somewhere.......
theFightingSeabee
Meach, they are both in my z folder and it works fine. Maybe just take out the older one?
ChrisND
Blast you! I had the exact same idea for a mod, and now I need to rework it to make it different.
