That's the difference between 'inter-war' wand 'wartime' design. The armor packages keep getting thicker and thicker. Same with U.S.. in the Marine module it looks like you'll get a choice between old-style LAV-25 and uparmored LAV-25 A2. I didn't think there was any U.S. armor out there that still lacked a spall liner!:eek:

I think you only get a discount if you buy in bulk.

I bet COSTCO or SAMS has a generic copy that costs less. It won't be quite as good as the name brand but you can get a lot more of them.

Not to mention the return policy is great. I brought back a couple with 120mm holes in them, and they still took them back!
