Capt. Toleran
WARNING - GRAPHIC DEATH SITUATION, NO GORE, FRIENDLY CASUALTIES http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=18f_1201000704 I think 155mm round was used as an IED, close up of either US or ING squad digging it up (I think ING from how unprofessional they were) and it goes off in between them. Nothing left, just a crater. Very good look of aftermath without gore. Shocking, really, you can even hear it in the chopper pilot's voices, and they must have seen a lot already. Just so quickly, those lives extinguished. And a 8 foot crater left where they were.
Bigduke6
There's a saying in the Soviet sapper corps: "In this job, you have no right to make a mistake."
fireship4
Souded like the pilot or co-pilot laughed!
Michael Emrys
Over the soundtrack they keep talking about four guys buying it, but a fifth guy walks up just before it blows, so he must have gotten it too. Michael

Mord
Poor bastards... Why the hell didn't they just detonate it from a safe distance? The commander on the ground was trying to say three of them survived! Mord.

Capt. Toleran
Yeah, I think it was more just they were giving very cynical or shocked laughter, they were still in a stake of shock, but had to stay semi-professional....and still drive the chopper. Pretty amazing.
Flanker15
I don't think they had the equipment to disarm it from afar like the US does. So they just had to try and dig it out, the US should give them commendations, they blew up so that US soldiers didn't. Pretty creepy watching the man pick up the broken remains of the AK that was being carried by a person just moments before.
wunwinglow
Good grief. Couldn't they have just put a charge on it and blown it remotely? What a waste.... Tim
