If I was to guess about this I might suggest:

something like:

System Specs

CPU: Pentium 2.0GHz (or better)

Operating System: Windows XP Professional

RAM: 1.0 GB (512 megs bare Minimum, 2 gigs or more likely for faster playability in RealTime )

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 (?) bigger and faster is always better (More RAM means better frame rate right?)

Sound Card: You need one

Internet: DSL

Monitor: 1280 x 1024 max res

Hard Drive Space: 350 GB

HD : 350 GB free space

BUT that would just be a guess

Can you run the TOW demo? If so, you're probably fine. It's hard to tell since there is all of this bug logging stuff running in the background in the beta version that probably won't be present in the release version.

I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400, GeForce 8800 GTS, 2 GB of RAM, and running at 1280x1024 it was decent on high settings (20-30 FPS).

"Can you run the TOW demo? If so, you're probably fine."

TOW's supposedly got problems with older dual-core pc chip, and it plays upside-down on a Bootcamp-partitioned mac (with very simple solutions, to be sure). CMSF will probably run more reliably than TOW.

It runs on Vista, but the Nvidia drivers leave a little to be desired. Ever try Google earth with opengl on Vista? it shows how bad the Vista drivers are for opengl. I continue to test with the latest drivers, I currently run the 160.03s, have seen if there is newer yet, been to busy making things.
